A combination of polished and honed (less slippery) can be very dramatic in a bathroom. Or, the use of marble mosaic (minimizes slipping) on floors and as accents on walls can be very effective
Its not the most practical choice for a bath floor but it is pretty when its new! Requires a good bit of maintenance to keep it up. As mentioned, its better for accents etc...
