How difficult it's to maintain the floor tiles?

Porcelain. Easy clean. If stone, like limestone, was used a proper sealer would be essential.

Since you are keeping the flooring, everything new has to be in relation to the floor. Do you have a photo of the floor? Hold up samples of the cabinet paint and see if it enhances the flooring. You might need a more cream paint on cabinet and see these dark knobs. Some of the marble-type have many gray streaks. I'd look for something with brown-beige streaks to enhance the beige grout and beige floor tilehttps://www.houzz.com/photos/traditional-bathroom-traditional-bathroom-phvw-vp~93581 The back splash I'd do in the same "marble" as the counters b/c if you match the beige grout of the floors, with the subway tile, the back splash tile will look odd and if you use a white grout on the subway tile, it will look odd with the floors, too.

I spoke to a rep in the UK who confirmed the tiles are still current, but not available in UK or Ireland. I'll continue to try & speak to the manufacturer & hopefully it will come to a happy ending. I know I won't be 100% happy with anything else.

The key is seeing the potential a room has.You should choose a color similar to the white oak doors to make the room appear bigger. a darker floor would accentuate the small scale of the floor. providing engineered flooring is laid correctly it will not lift. It will move but not enough to notice anything which is why it was designed with a ply back. Tiles are best for spreading heat but they also cool down quickly. Engineered flooring keeps the heat for a bit longer. There is not much in this its more the look you want?
