Typically go with the four inch, then on those short situations it goes all the way into the corner, whatever the dimension. You don't want to select your jamb trim based on worst case scenario. Can you select another trim style that will be less expensive but four inch width?

Building a single story bungalow and looking for some ideas for ceiling heights and also perhaps going higher on doors. Anyone any ideas re this

Hello there. I’d like a change from my over mantel mirror which I feel is out of proportion. The width of the mantelpiece is 140cm and the height from the mantel shelf to the coving is 108cm. I’ve got my eye on this one from Laura Ashley which comes in either 60cm or 100cm diameter. I’m drawn to the larger size but that will mean probably resting it the edge on the mantelpiece because of the restriction of the ceiling height. Would this look odd with a round mirror and do you think it would even suit my fireplace? Many thanks.

Our tall units are 2300mm high but we have a 327mm gap to the ceiling. Any ideas as to how to fill the gap?
