I have wood look tile on my floor and I'm thinking about putting it in my shower after seeing your pictures, but I'm not sure how to handle the unfinished edges of the tile. It is about a quarter inch thick and the edges are unfinished.
I'm not sure my question totally made sense. The main place I would have a problem with the edges is on the curb that you step over on the bottom. I can't see how to hide the edges there.
We laid the horizontal tile on top of the vertical tiles. For grout, we used a color similar to the color of the tile edge -- so the horizontal tile can have a raw edge that will blend in with the grout lines. You can also grout the horizontal edges as well. Hope that helps!
