From the photo's I'm guessing this will be the focal point in the room even though you may have other windows in the room. My suggestion would be to have a bespoke contemporary low wall length cupboard system installed perhaps gloss with space for your TV to sit on a stand on top. Hanging a TV above a fireplace can be challenging in itself for 2 reasons 1. You must be careful of minimum safety distances from the fire to the TV as there is potential for cables run inside behind the wall to become overheated and damage the appliance or worse still cause a fire. 2. many wall mounted TV's are mounted only to find the height is incorrect and can cause uncomfortable viewing position and neck pain as a result. Re the windows 50 mil wood slat window blinds (fitted inside the windows) would work here and you can now find a wide range of painted variety's in high street stores which can be made bespoke to the window size you require.
