our bathroom
Comments (1)Hi. I hope you don't mind me saying but removing one of the bathrooms may potentially devalue the property even if they are small. Removing the bath may also alienate any families when it comes to selling. Maybe check with an estate agent unless this isn't an issue for you. Have you thought about combining a bath with a really decent shower? Luxury hotels often do this. In terms of style, what is the rest of the house like? Look at the light in the room for colours, you can go dark but combine with really decent lighting. If you like blue, why not try navy and white maybe with some bright accessories? Navy is very on trend at the moment (and a classic bathroom colour!) but can't find a great bathroom image. I personally would go for something fairly classic with a couple of contemporary elements....See MoreSmall bathroom - options?
Comments (5)Hello Orlac2, yes you could turn the bath round and have a smaller one.. Like a tubby.. You could also take out the bath and install a shower, have a wet room style with full tiling and back to wall sink and loo.. Could be a rather luxurious shower room.. but if the bath is required then why not look at getting a Tubby Torre by Albion. They have a whole range but this is a favourite.. It can be painted any colour you like.. I like the copper colour.. You get a really fantastic soak and it's a beautiful little tub! As well as a shower. : ))...See MoreAdding a tub to a small bathroom
Comments (3)We also bought our house before babies - but I can now tell you they usually are mainly in the tub yrs1-8 maybe even 10 or 11! We opted to put both a tub (with an electric shower) and a walk-in shower / wet room type arrangement in the main bathroom. Seems like a lot in 1 place but works for us....See MoreSmall Bathroom Design Ideas
