The design is by Christopher Kellie Designs. This is a talented husband-wife team located in Blowing Rock, NC. www.christopherkellie.com
My team (from NC) was just in Colorado and one of the Architects we visited had this shot on his screen saver... small world.

The siding is a mix of our Bark House brand poplar bark shingles and weathered boards, pre-finished with Cabot Baked Brick Semi Transparent.

Thanks everyone! The sofa is camel/gold, it photographs lighter than it actually is. I think the best thing to do might be to go with it and see if I can love it as is. If not I can have the cover made.

Love your carpet choices here! I noticed that there no artwork on the walls yet. This will elevate the mood of the room since you will need an upper emphasis once your room is anchored with the carpet. It is easier to decorate around a rug, the one you love for sure, than around a focal piece, such as art. After you choose from any of the beautiful carpets above that work with your interior, take a photo of the room with the carpet installed in it. Have fun looking for the artwork that best sings with your carpet. and that grabs you. After you have the choice of art up on the wall, look for small accessories of colour of shape, size and texture that work with the whole composition last. Do not forget something living such as plants, which take the sterility out of the room, especially neutral walls and natural floors.

The only way to do this involves moving some cabinets. There is a lot of vertical space available opt 1) remove the upper cabinets near the window. Place the freezer on top of counter. Use the former freezer area to build in shoe cubbies. opt 2) Move the tall pantry cabinet up. Underneath the pantry cabinet, build in shoe cubbies. opt 3) move the freezer up to meet the bottom of the upper cabinets. Put she storage underneath freezer. You'll need to replace the counter with a smaller counter that will be over the washer and dryer only.

Would love advice on Dining table light

Hi, I have found lights I love but am unsure of configuration over my dining table. Am thinking 2 large (450mm wide) or 3 small 250mm (or 300mmm) over the table. The restriction I have is the flat roof width above the table is just 93cm wide (see where current IKEA shade is hanging). I'm worried might look a bit squeezed, The table length is 2 meters. The 3rd picture is similar but with 5 sides instead of 4. Could pick either. Would love some opinions and any other thoughts? Thank you!
