Comments (11)I still love cabinets or repurposed furniture, armoire, etc. that match the space to keep the tv out of sight and not the center focus; but if you don't like cabinets, how about a bookcase with a shelf large enough for the tv; with other items, books, etc. on the shelves, the tv is not the focal point. Or, hang the tv on the wall and hang a large piece of framed art over it and remove for tv watching. Instead of a wall safe, it's a tv . . . ....See MoreNeed help with trellis wall
Comments (11)Pyracantha (firethorn) is evergreen, with beautiful white flowers in spring followed by vibrant red or orange berries in fall. It lends itself easily to espalier--ing. You can make as geometric/formal (and flat) a shape as you like -- or leave it to a natural bushy habit. If you choose to paint your wall first, I'd whitewash it so that it blends in with the neighbor's house. Together they will create an innocuous, even shabby chic backdrop for your planting....See Moreneed help with window dressings for unusual window
Comments (11)I have to agree that glass film is brilliant- we used Purlfrost online. You can either pre measure and they will cut for you you or you can buy a piece and cut to your own specs. It arrives rolled in a tube. We've done two rooms- the living room with full frost and the other, a bedroom- with just the bottom half of the window covered which looks pretty modern and sharp. It was supposed to be a temporary solution till we got shutters organised but it looks so effective and fresh that we've decided to save the small fortune that shutters cost! The help line was great- they recommended leaving a gap around the edge near the frame for a beveled glass effect which did actually work! You can get different levels of opaqueness - we used the less opaque for more light but still private- or patterns or stained glass effect. Its really easy to apply yourself too, and apparently comes off with no damage to the glass at all, so good if. Works out really economical as well. Can you tell I'd recommend it?! :)...See MoreWould love some advices on my bedroom
Comments (4)Hi Tatiana. As you haven't got an ideabook it would be great to have some idea on what styles and colours you like. The room looks lovely and bright, which way does it face? As the wardrobes are quite dominant I would go for something masculine in look but with feminine touches like the lamps, flowers, cushions, velvet, silk etc. so something along the lines of what I've pictured. If there isn't room for a sofa at the end of the bed I'd opt for a bed end stool. If you're not keen on 4 posters (although I might choose a simpler one) I'd consider a dark velvet bed with a feature ŵall or an oversized headboard. I'd also hang the curtain pole higher....See Morehome1628
