Need help picking backsplash tiles and wall paint colours
Comments (9)Thank you for your suggestions and ideas! I love some of the more daring/colourful ideas, but I don't think I'm, personally, bold enough to go with such a contemporary look. I'm going to stick to a traditional/modern style and use large (4" x 8") white subway tiles and dark grey grout. I'm thinking of using a dark grey paint around the kitchen walls and then a lighter shade around the rest of the room, with maybe the dark grey on the wall behind the TV too. Will be a few more weeks before that's all done, but I'll post a picture when I eventually get there. Thanks again!...See MoreNeed help on kitchen floor tiles
Comments (33)Hi catbox/emerald18 - your kitchen is absolutely stunning - I love it - mostly because your style is the same as mine - only the tiles I've chosen are Henley Cool from Topps Tiles (sage green/blue). I've also had a few moments of indecision but I've had a picture and sample of the tiles pinned up for months and I still love them. I'd chosen matt slab style kitchen door fronts but I might be convinced by your photo to change to Shaker. I am also going for the wood worktop but can't decide whether to have a Belfast sink or not. What sink did you choose? I also can't decide on a splashback, but like white painted brick + something more cleanable by the sink and hob. Once again, I love love love your kitchen - I'm pinning the photo of it up with my tiles picture in case I get future wobbles about my dream kitchen...See MoreNew kitchen, but just not working.
Comments (448)fragle0 ... congratulations on the new addition to your family. Have been following your lovely changes. You probably won't have time to work on the decor for a while. Just wanted to suggest that you try pulling the nesting tables forward to be more in line with front of the chairs & placing your floor lamp to the back of them. This will give a bit more light at night for reading in that area. Also switching the plant by the fireplace & the one on the corner by the sofa....See MoreNeed colour help for white kitchen
Comments (12)I really like the clean lines of your kitchen , it's beautiful and I would not add to much colour but you could use some accessories with green and white that would compliment this minimalistic kitchen. For example adding a bright green plant/s or an accessory the same colour as the clock on your top wall can put everything in a nice perspective!...See Moreapple_pie_order
