Need help! Paint colour and ideas for large kitchen wall.
Comments (10)Hi Maria. It's a lovely kitchen and I must admit I like the white so would probably change the accessories. I would add a huge sunburst clock or mirror above the cabinets (can't work out if it's a clock or mirror above the fire). Add a statement light over the table. Try a coloured splashback behind the cabinets. Add some coloured stools. I would say paint the kitchen chairs but I can see they are good quality! If you do want to paint then either blues, violets or even a very soft grey if you add some coloured accesories. Do make sure the colour blends with the lounge though as you can obviously see through....See Moresmall room - want to make it functional
Comments (2)If it all fits in then why not. I don't think the desk will go with the bed or maybe it would work it the desk was painted. Do you need the desk or could you use a smaller console table for working/doing things from ? Not a fan of sliding doors would rather swop the door so it opens the other way if space is an issue. What is going on the shelves are they needed ?...See MoreRedesigning kitchen
Comments (5)Why don't you have an L shape and use the area under the window also for your sink and a couple of extra units? you could add shelves on either side of the window? Not sure why your fridge has to go at that end? might be best at the other end? As Sarah, suggests, get full height cupboards, and put the microwave in one of those, so that you're not losing so much space. Extra storage is probably more useful than having the microwave on display? It can easily be put on a shelf within a cupboard. (Our isn't even in our kitchen, but then we only use it once a week or so... so really depends) I'd also suggest drawers to the bottom of your units instead of cupboards....See MoreWhat colour wood? Comments (1)A medium color floor is easier to keep looking clean than a dark or light floor. For an open floor plan, I would choose planks. One of the main features in the design of an open floor plan is to draw the eye through the space. A herringbone pattern would be confusing to the eye. Use herringbone in a small room....See Moremattpott12
