Problem With Wardrobe Handle

i wonder is anyone can help .

My mum has some wardrobes in her bedroom with handles just like these

One of them has come loose and refuses to tighten up. There’s just one screw on the back, and i think the issue is that the threads have gone in the handle itself

Is there any filler i could use that i could then screw back into?

Hi. It's difficult to say without seeing it other than paint and new handles. If you don't want to spend hours prepping the furniture try annie Sloan chalk paint (there are numerous tutorials online depending on what finish you want). Alternatively you could probably use one of the zinsser primers ( I forget which which one is best!) and then just use normal paint over the top. You could also look for wooden mouldings which you can glue on if you want something different or maybe drape fairy lights or bunting over the top

Get a piece of wide shoe moulding for the bottom trim. Add organizers and shelves, paint it white white with a coat of satin polyurethane over the paint, and add new hardware. It will be beautiful

Hi Sheona, No problem at all, I love doing them :) Glad you liked the previous plan, I know the feeling sometimes when you have been looking at something for so long it is impossible to make decisions :) I had a think last night about your other question about putting the utility near the kitchen. I can up with a few changes. I'm not sure if it is possible as I only had the plan to go on, but I thought I'd send it your way and it might help. My idea was to move the entrance to where the old utility room was, then put the new utility beside the kitchen in the old entrance way. I combined the old bathroom to make a bedroom, added a toilet and increased the side of the Den.
