“We worked with Keith this last winter to redo essentially all of the yard space for our suburban home. This included front (yard, walkways, driveway), back (yard, patio), sides (planter boxes, walkways). We're very happy with not just the results, but the experience of working with Keith. Our house is an Eichler, so we were looking for a modern aesthetic in the design phase. Both Keith and designer Charlie Loy worked on preliminary design iterations. We worked with Keith directly as the design finalized, through the inevitable tradeoffs between features & budget. Through the build process, Keith was creative, flexible, and unflappable in making design and build adjustments due to complications (tree overhang required fire put to move, which meant the layout of some key benches and walls had to move, Keith worked out a new design immediately) and opportunities (turning some reclaimed boulders and river rocks into a water-less water feature). Budget and schedule: Our budget was around $100K, and we were able to stick pretty close to it, by changing some design elements so that the final design was at budget. Once we were in the build phase, both budget and schedule went without a hitch. Of course there were delays, but Keith and Cesar, his foreman, kept us informed, and worked around delays (inspections, parts not showing up) as much as they could. The whole crew was professional and thoughtful throughout the process -remember when we had those big storms in Nov /Dec - they made sure that even tho the yard was a muddy mess, we had clear access to the house. In the end, we're very very happy, and I would whole-heartedly recommend Keith Willig. Our new landscaping is not only beautiful, its 10X more usable! Keith & co were able to unlock parts of the property that we didn't even think about, and make them great.”

“Kristen designed a beautiful makeover for our yard - front, back and sides. She asked lots of questions before designing anything - what we wanted (pavers, pretty flowers), what we didn't want (water feature, yellow flowers) and in general, how we wanted to use our yard. She came up with lovely, detailed plans for a traditional looking garden (with our traditional looking house) - that were revised slightly with discussion, then found a couple of contractors to bid on the work. She supervised the work of the one we chose, making sure they followed the plans. She recommended a new gardner - good choice. About a year later she replaced the few plants that hadn't made it (for no charge), and now almost two years later the place is absolutely beautiful! I can't tell you how many complements we have received ever since the job was originally completed - and they continue to this day!”

“This past summer we hired Landsystems Landscapes to design a backyard retreat for our family. We wanted a space that would be both beautiful and functional, a place for us to entertain our family and friends, but also serve as a private oasis to escape for some peace and quiet. Landsystems were exactly the right people for our job. Not only are they landscape architects, but they’re also contractors. So we knew that if we liked their design ideas we could also hire them to complete the construction too. At first, I worried that hiring landscape designers meant hiring other people’s own personal styles, choices and ideas. I also worried we would be giving up input as to the direction things would go or what we wanted for our space. However, with Landsystems Landscape this was never the case. From their detailed online project questionnaire to multiple design meetings at our house to gain a better understanding of our wants, needs, likes and dislikes Landsystems Landscapes has made the whole design process a collaborative effort that has been both enjoyable and educational. We have felt guided and informed throughout the entire process, never pushed or strayed away from our own likes and the things most important to us. They made sure that we understood each step and felt comfortable and confident with each choice and decision we made. Every person from the Landsystems’ team was professional, respectful, reliable and knowledgeable. In addition, the Landsystems’ personnel made us feel important and valued. They took the time to listen, explain and answer any and all questions we had, even if we asked the same question before or maybe needed a little more explanation or information before feeling completely confident and comfortable with our decision. Of course, a huge factor in our project was budget…everyone has one and everyone is trying to stick to it! Budget was something that we discussed with Landsystems early on in the design process. It was a constant topic and reference point that helped guide our decisions. Landsystems worked very closely with us to stay within our budget without compromising the beautiful design they had created for our backyard. By the end we knew exactly what work was going to be done, how much it was going to cost us and what the final product was going to look like. We were so pleased with Landsystems Landscapes that after the completion of the design process we hired them to implement their creative vision and construct our new backyard. Demolition began a couple weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier with the company, crew and workmanship.”

“Gun was a real pleasure to work with. She listened very carefully to our half-formed ideas, made sure she understood what we wanted and liked, as well as what we didn't want and didn't like. We are delighted with the results! She transformed our somewhat neglected front yard into a lovely low-water garden. She skillfully guided us through every step, from initial consultation, design, contractor selection, installation and plans for on-going maintenance. Any questions/issues were quickly resolved. “Rebecca Dye, landscape architect at Design Focus, designed a beautiful, functional, ecological, and dog friendly front and backyard that wonderfully transformed the look of my home. Her knowledge of every aspect of plant design and her artistic skill was just amazing. I asked for gardens full of color and I have color virtually all year long. Her staff and crew were also excellent. Rebecca was very involved in every step of the project and she was always checking to make sure everything was up to her high standards. “Tina Roushall is a top notch landscap designer. She is pleasant, intelligent, creative and responsive. Tina listens to her client's requests, researches plants, materials and ideas, and presents them for client's review in conceptual design options with good cost estimations. For every aspect of the job, Tina has several resources she can recommend for clients to interview. While your project is underway, Tina stays in contact with the client and the contractors, physically checking in. When we felt an installed item didn't represent our idea of what something should look like, Tina was on the phone with the installer and on the job site within the hour, assisting in evaluation and change to our liking. When I came up with a new hard scape idea to add to our project mid install, Tina was on the phone with the contractor arranging solutions to my request. Tina is what one would hope for in a perfect landscape designer relationship. We have recommended her to several of our friends who are using her services as well.”

“We hired R&R to build a 1,900 sqft deck, outdoor kitchen and seating area. The team was outstanding! I can't say enough great things about these guys. They were clear about what they were going to do, when they were going to do it, and then in the end, it all happened as they said it would. The entire team was fantastic to work with. They came with great ideas and delivered for us every step of the way. If you are looking to remodel your backyard, look no further - this is your team. Choose anyone else at your own risk. Ron and the team are by far the best contractors I've ever worked with. Plus they are great guys on top of it, which makes the process move so much more smoothly. We never had to chase anyone down or wonder when anything was going to happen. They were great communicators throughout the entire project and we absolutely love our new backyard. “David did an exquisite job with my yard: it's an oasis and I spend as much time as I can outside taking it in. it's easy-maintenance, beautiful all seasons, and simply peaceful.
