The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. We have a difficult sloping garden and he was really good at understanding what we wanted and also helping us to think about things we hadn't considered. He also took careful consideration of our budget and came up with a really innovative but practical design and helped us find a suitable contractor. “After 20+ years of living in the same house which had undergone numerous changes over the years, the garden was due a ‘makeover’ it had served us well as a family garden but our needs had changed (along with the ability to manage it) therefore time to look for an ‘expert’… Anthony Arnold of Emerging Landscapes stood out from others with the time he took to listen and understand our needs, wishes and not least, budget constraints. His approach is collaborative, very important as we wished to retain a few existing features which he needed to incorporate in the design. He explained and involved us in the design process along the way, from detailed site survey (we have a terraced garden, so not an easy task) concept drawing to final plan. He is innovative and creative and his desire to create a beautiful space that answers our needs and we can enjoy for many more years with minimum maintenance was very apparent. Our enthusiasm for the garden has been re-ignited.”

“Abel Landscaping and Darren have made a First Class job of my Driveway, Patio and Artificial Grass to a very high standard. This was all done while I was away on holiday, I was kept informed of all progress on a daily basis with pictures sent to my Mobile phone. That's what I call going the extra mile. I had some additional work done and was kept fully informed of any additional costs as when this happened. Thomas who installed my Driveway, Patio and Grass is one of the best Ground workers I have come across, with so much knowledge and great recommendations.”

“We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. “Moving in to a brand new house we had a blank canvas with which to work, and count ourselves most fortunate when we were recommended to Anna by a neighbour. It was clear from the outset that Anna works with a process, first asking us what our priorities are and how much time we would be willing to give to ongoing maintenance etc. the brief we gave her was for low maintenance, year round colour, koi pool and dog friendly. At every point Anna exceeded our expectations. She has also kept her word by performing regular garden check-ups to make sure we're on track. Highly recommended.”

“Ben did a great job of redesigning our very mature and overgrown garden. The result is a far more practical family friendly garden which is easy to maintain and looks fantastic through the year. As one plant fades, another flowers giving constant colour which I would never have been able to achieve without Ben. As I maintain the garden myself, his plant maintenance guide has proved invaluable - I can easily identify the plants in the garden and know what to do and when to keep the garden looking great. The contractors Ben organised for us to complete the work were fantastic too. A job well done!”
