“I had a fairly large border (approx 8m x 5m) which had been neglected for a few years. I wanted to create a low maintenance flower bed and liked the idea of a country garden look. Ben and Paul came round and assessed what was there in terms of position (light/shade), soil and the shrubs which were worth retaining. We also discussed budget. I then received a planting plan with a quotation and commissioned the work. The bed was cleared and planted mid June and I am delighted with the result. I now have a bed which will flower more or less from May to September and will require increasingly less maintenance as it matures. FGD are extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other areas of my garden (not areas which will result in work for them). I do have another two areas which do need a makeover and I will certainly commission them to undertake the project.”

Fast forward to the end of 2023 the garden looks incredibly beautiful which includes a diverse assortment of flowers, plants, and some trees. “I used Simpy Garden Design a few years ago to completely overhaul a very unloved large patio and surrounding borders. Katie is full of inspiration and ideas and created a beautiful area that has great atmosphere...something I would not have felt possible given how unpromising it was before. “We have employed the services of Luke from Roeder Landscapes over the past two years in planting up new beds, a small orchard and for lawn maintenance We are very happy with the results. His designs took full consideration of our ideas and built on these with further options taking into account soil conditions and aspect. Great attention was paid to bed preparation prior to planting which ensured the best growing conditions. Work was carried out efficiently with the minimum of fuss.
