“Lynn really went the extra mile! My yard had a number of drainage opportunities along with a disjointed lot due to a recent garage addition and new concrete. So, she had a number of challenges to deal with. Lynn consulted with a number of contractors and visited my lot more than five times with landscapers before she recommended partners, drew the plan, and secured the time slot. She made sure to be on site almost every day making sure the plan was on track and we addressed any design changes with no problems and worked within our budget. I decided to secure and plant some of the plants myself and she was very open to this. The yard is beautiful -- people actually stop their cars and get out to admire our yard -- the design is really out of the box and not "cookie cutter". Creative Landscape Designs was incredible through the whole process and I highly recommend Lynn and her contractor partners.”

What I have especially appreciated has been the company's attention to detail and focus on getting it right -- at times they recommended adding things I didn't realize I needed (a couple extra lights here, more drainage there), but other times they convinced me why a cheaper option or forgoing something altogether was the better choice. And Dave Guthery, my project lead, was always accessible and willing to stop over on a moment's notice if I had questions or concerns and he continues to offer suggestions about upkeep and general maintenance to this day. “From our first meeting with Tom Kusmerz, The Barn Nursery, we were sold on working with that company and looked no further. Through conversation and walking around on our property, Tom was able to create a hardscape design concept that we just loved. Our retaining wall was failing and we needed to redesign the whole thing. With his help we chose natural stone that blended well with our existing house brick and pool decking and gave us both the color and natural look we were after. Tom worked with our pool and concrete contractors so everything on our project was done in the right order and no one had to wait on someone else. With Tom's design on our retaining wall and how the base materials were installed, we were able to reduce the costs of our concrete decking repair by half of the original bid and we have a beautiful, natural looking retaining wall that will last forever. The crews working on our project from The Barn Nursery were great. I looked forward to their arrival every morning. They were neat, efficient, friendly and very hard working. I could tell that they really took pride in their workmanship and the job came out beautifully. My family and I look forward to their return in the spring to help us with our plantings.
