Creative Wood Kitchens
Kitchen Designers in Gorteen, Co. Mayo
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars22 July 2026
“Absolutely love Creative Wood. They worked really closely with us on our design and made sure it met our expectations. Ours is a holiday home and we didn’t want to splash the cash too much. Despite using their cheapest ranges for kitchen and utility we find that they still function brilliantly twelve years later. A couple of handles failed this past year (on the two heaviest-used doors: fridge & freezer) - unsurprising after such a long time. But the team at Creative Wood understood the need to fix them quickly for us and did so with such understanding and efficiency. Love Creative Wood”

“I had Karen help me with interior design and choices for our house when we did a make over on our kitchen in March 2020. The work started during covid in 2020. Karen was so accommodating and easy to work with. We were very happy with her recommendations, colour choices and communications. I would highly recommend her.”
Chrissie Hofford Interiors
Kitchen Designers in Gorteen, Co. Mayo
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars3 July 2025
“Our experience working with Chrissie could not have been more positive. It always felt that our project was at the top of Chrissie’s list and was just as important to her as it was to us. We were so impressed that she was vested in the entire project, and on many occasions jumped in to reach out to us to correct things that were outside the technical scope of her engagement but integral to the overall outcome. We built and decorated two properties in the US previously and frankly we were skeptical that we would find someone who would be able to provide the level of service and expertise that we required for our West of Ireland Property. We needed a full turn-key service and knew we wouldn’t see the building until it was complete. Chrissie listened to our brief, presented a series of highly creative, beautifully curated design schemes for us to review and never overwhelmed us. The bespoke furnishings are amazing, allowing so much customisation and the quality is unmatched. We have not had a visitor to our house to date that has not asked about where we sourced it and complemented us on our beautiful home. We loved Chrissie’s transformation of our Irish Home and are happiest to report that we haven’t changed a single thing. We highly recommend Chrissie Hofford Interiors, definitely a company that you can trust knowing they have your best interests front and center! Brendan Connolly - Connollys, Times Square, New York”
