Such a professional experience from beginning to end. We are so happy with our kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble, they could create exactly what we wanted. Both the design and fitting of the kitchen was first class. It was the best decision we made in the building process. We would highly recommend them.

We recently purchased a new solid Oak (not painted) kitchen from Creative Wood and are absolutely delighted with it. There was never a question about who we would get to design and make it, just a matter of when. A number of years ago we commissioned an ash/oak display cabinet from Creative Wood and subsequently we bought a kitchen island from them; the finished products are works of art. In the interim they had manufactured two kitchens for other family members. Consequently, we had ample experience of the superior craftsmanship, and professional and personal service provided by Micheál Cusack and his team. All of those qualities are still very evident today. From our initial ideas and sketches, Micheál worked his magic; a detailed blueprint was soon drafted and raw material samples provided. Nothing was a problem. Once the final design was agreed, everything happened very quickly and proficiently, and with no fuss. The rapid, 'precision' installation of the kitchen units (Vincent has to be mentioned) and subsequently, the even swifter fitting of the 'seamless' polished quartz worktop (Danny, from William Coffey & Sons, beside Creative Wood) was remarkable; again, all with minimal disturbance and no fuss. Our new kitchen has received nothing but praise from visitors. They marvel at the matching wood grain and the unique artisan workmanship throughout; it's a credit to Creative Wood. We are proud to show it off and consider it a great investment. We highly recommend them and look forward to future transactions.

We have designed two kitchens with Creative Wood and can recommend their work unreservedly. The first kitchen was made of Irish ash, unpainted, and we worked very closely with Micheal on the look and function of it. We discussed exactly how we would use the space, and Micheal made excellent suggestions that enabled us to reach the perfect design for our needs. The handmade details - such as a single piece of wood split and splayed on a cupboard door, the grain mirrored - are a pure delight. The second kitchen was made of Iroko, again unpainted, and again the design process was thorough, enjoyable and spot-on for our needs. Micheal and his team are dedicated to their work and their material. The workshop is always humming with enthusiasm and every member of the team clearly loves the work. This joy in the work, alongside their very high skill levels, sets them apart. The final kitchen is so beautiful, it's easy to lose time just staring at it! Every guest marvels at the fine workmanship and intelligence of the design and goes away envious. In an age when craftsmanship is under threat, a Creative Wood kitchen is a unique and beautiful addition that gives so much pleasure and for so many years – it’s an investment in enduring beauty. I had to update my kitchen to meet the needs of my daughter who is a full time wheelchair user. I am delighted that I used Creative Wood. The planning and installation were excellent. Their attention to detail and workmanship was way above our expectations. Every detail was gone into at planning stage which was very reassuring that our special needs would be met. Creative Wood were recommended to us in the planning stage of the refurbishment of our house in Westport. Once we visited the show room and factory we were very impressed with the manufacturing process and the standard of the finished products. Following helpful and friendly discussion with Michael on design and technical issues we were happy to commission his team to supply and install a new kitchen and other extensive carpentry work in the property. The company adhered to an agreed programme of works and were very flexible in the interface with other trades. The whole project was carried out in a professional manner and it was a pleasure to work with a skillful and pleasant installation team. I was looking for someone who had the required experience, craftsmanship and capability to bring our ideas for our new kitchen to life, after visiting Micheal in his showroom and manufacturing facility I knew we had found the right person. Micheal's experience, attention to detail and ensuring that all our requirement were incorporated into the space without compromising on the unique design and overall functionality of the kitchen were immeasurable. Our objective was to create a large kitchen/dining/living room as part of an extensive refurbishment of an existing property. From the very outset Micheál sought to understand our requirements and designed a kitchen that would not only suit our needs, but would maximise the space and capitalise on the natural light that the new large room offered. The workmanship and fitting were of the highest quality and the customer service was attentive throughout. We are absolutely delighted with our stunning kitchen.

Creative Wood designed and built us a wonderful kitchen this year, 2016. We selected the Shaker style for aesthetic reasons and because of cost. There was excellent communication between Creative Wood and ourselves and the finished kitchen, which was installed in a day, was even lovelier than we had hoped. It is ergonomic, really well made and finished and we expect it to last for many years.
