“We used VB Design for the renovation of our period home and I couldn’t recommend her more. From choosing colours for the front of the house to designing the layout of bathrooms and the kitchen, Vyvyan was instrumental in getting our home renovation finished on time and on budget. I found the lighting design really difficult as we had a dark hallway which contrasted with our very bright dining and sitting rooms plus different height ceilings but Vyvyan expertly guided us through it and made it all seem easy. She has a very creative background and that came through when styling the rooms, giving each a very individual style and colour pallet while still all flowing together. I like many styles and colours and she worked with me to express my style but adding her flair, advice and design know how while taking the stress away from me. Would recommend highly to anyone.”

“I asked Sarah if she could help me get some dining chairs upholstered, which have sentimental value to us. I wanted to get a good match to the colour scheme in my room. She found the chosen fabric at a very affordable price in a very short space of time and recommended an award winning upholstery company where the chairs were upholstered. The result was fantastic and a significant difference was achieved at an affordable price. They have given a real lift to the bedroom and blend in so well with the overall colour scheme. Sarah also suggested a new design for our bedroom to complement and use existing furniture and colours, so that I could enhance the bedroom. She presented a beautiful scheme which included a new mahogony dressing table, side tables, lamps, curtains and bedspreads. I can now enhance the room when the time suits me bit by bit and know that I am following a beautiful interior scheme. Sarah is an excellent interior designer, she is very friendly, approachable and motivated. I was 100% satisfied with her designs and work and I would thoroughly recommend her for your interior project.”

“We were incredibly lucky to have Helena Cousins of Zinc Interior Design as our interior designer when we decided to renovate and completely redecorate our home. Our house was very old-fashioned and dull. Now it is bright, contemporary and absolutely gorgeous. Helena helped with everything both outside and inside the house. She recommended colours and design of new windows and doors, colours of soffit, fascia and gutters. Inside, Helena looked after everything. “My kitchen was a natural Oak kitchen with a black granite top and it needed updating. I got in touch with Hestia, Sarah and Rachel were brilliant, they could see that there was no brightness about the kitchen and that the exsisting kitchen wasn't helping the space. A total revamp was done with their expertise and guidance, it has transformed the kitchen into a beautiful modern light and airy kitchen. As a result of the kitchen transformation, I have now extended their services into the living room and other areas of the house. Their recommendations in colours, textures, soft furnishings and lights etc have totally brightened the whole house. They are both very professional and have a great eye when looking at spaces, they can see where changes are required and very good an putting a plan together. “I am so delighted I approached Serpentine Interiors at the beginning of my renovation 12 months ago. I had an idea of what I wanted, but had no idea how to bring it to life and to keep it under or close to my budget. Myself and my husband work full time with 3 little kiddies and it was hard to make time to research brands of furniture and lighting and to figure out what was best for our home and messy family! Serpentine Interiors have a wealth of knowledge of what is out there and are so trustworthy. From the initial consultation to the final presentation, they really took the time to make sure everything was covered, and I knew what to do after the presentation. What I was expecting to be a stressful time was made so enjoyable and it really pushed me out of my comfort zone ; yet it still felt like us! I absolutely love my new open plan and hallway and can't wait to show it off once restrictions lift! I have 3 more rooms to do this year and I will be back to these expert ladies for the job!”

“We hired Katharina to get ideas for furniture placement and colour schemes for our new home, which was just newly built. Therefore, we could only provide her with the floor plans and some brief video clips of the interior and exterior of the building. Although she never entered our home, she could give very detailed information as to suggestions for where to put furniture and fittings. We were very positively surprised when we received the Feng Shui analysis from her. She delivered it promptly and gave us a “Wow-Effect”. My husband who was initially sceptical - was impressed by the amount of work and detail put into the presentation. We took on board most of her numerous suggestions and it made our job of colouring in our blank canvas much easier. Specifically, we liked the 3D visualizations in her presentation which were very helpful in illustrating the overall outcome of her design. In addition the hyperlinks she provided -including prices!-for suggested items and where they could be purchased were very helpful to get an idea what to look for and to save time while shopping for these things. In respect of the colour themes suggested we were able to restrict our search and made faster decisions. e.g. regarding the colour of the fabric for our sofas we had a range of possible colours but learned after her analysis that from a Feng Shui perspective one colour was preferable. Additionally, the information she provided in respect of the specific plant types and mirror shapes that might suit the specific room layouts were fantastic. We particularly liked the attention she paid to suggesting an appropriate home for an oil painting of sentimental value to us. Her attention to detail went so far as to copy in a photo of the oil painting into her 3-D presentation so we could imagine the painting sitting on the suggested wall. The detailed presentation clearly exceeded our expectations and we found her work to be extremely professional. We thank Katharina so much for her engagement, confidentiality and competence. We can absolutely recommend her Feng Shui consultation. It was a pleasure from the start to finish and we are delighted with the result.”
