My wife is a pretty decisive person and had a lot of ideas about what finishes she wanted etc. JP would listen and either agree or would offer an alternative that was either more in line with our budget or something he found to be well liked by other homeowners he has worked with. JP was onsite and very accessible. The website he uses allowed me to track the financials on a daily basis. It also allowed us to be involved in the communication between JP and his sub-contractors so we would get real time updates about the status of a particular job. Shelby was always sure to maintain a clean workspace and keep our house free of debris during our renovation. Our project involved remodeling a bathroom in our house built in 1970. There were several challenges Shelby uncovered and overcame. Our project involved taking the bathroom walls, floor, and ceiling down to the studs., Shelby reworked plumbing, rerouted and modified electric, removed a very heavy bathtub, installed floor and wall tile, installed a new toilet, shower, and vanity. He painted walls, installed shower doors, put in all new plumbing and light fixtures, and all associated wooden trim. Shelby has a very broad skillset and was able to work through any problem he encountered. Additionally, Shelby is very polite and was respectful of our home. “Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC.
