“I got ShutterCo to fit six shutters in my home, two in a reception room, one for the bathroom and three others for the bedrooms. I was absolutely delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend them. The initial call out, consultation and advice from Sarah was very helpful and informative and the subsequent measuring as well. The installation was done on the date requested and done on time. Furthermore the fitters were very professional, friendly and crucially tidy - for those used to having to clean-up after tradesmen rest assured you won't be doing it after the ShutterCo team. I will being using ShutterCo again and would most definitely recommend them. They're superb in all respects.”

“Extremely pleased both with the Quality & Service i received from Shutters of Dublin. Micheal (Owner) came himself to measure up & give us a quote. He was very professional & a really nice friendly guy. We had already had 2 x quotes form other shutter companies but i was very impressed with the professionalism & knowledge from Shutters of Dublin AND the price. We immediately placed the order & approx 8 weeks later they were fitted, again by a super professional guy from their company in less that a few hours. No mess was left & when finished we were over the moon with the craftsmanship. Iv'e no hesitation to highly recommend this company!”

Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
