About Us

Chez Maison is a Home Styling and Colour Consultancy with 20 years experience in designing and making soft-furnishings. Chez Maison Design Service: IT'S ABOUT YOU. We help people cultivate their Own Feeling of Home. Interior Design is not just about the glossy pictures in the magazines, it's got a lot to do with curating the space and possessions that you already have. A fresh pair of curtains and a new colour for the Bedroom wall can bring together all your favourite things in a way that feels like home to you, perhaps for the first time. Our creative director and designer has a Degree in Electronics, but went back to her life-long passion of working with fabrics, colour and texture when she first set up a soft-furnishing workshop in 1999. She Studied Fashion skills and industrial sewing methods before beginning that venture. The soft-furnishing workshop, Is.Interiors, is now part of the Chez Maison Business which covers all aspects of Home Accessories from table napkins (available online) to Couture Curtains and Colour Consultations.

Isabella has made beautiful curtains for almost every room in my house. I have called on her on many occasions and she has always delivered. In 2017, I eventually got around to my own room, which, with her help and skill, now looks absolutely fabulous. I’m delighted with the results and don’t know why it took me so long to get around to it.

Always a pleasure to have a happy client.. Yes, it is funny how we sometimes leave ourselves until the end, somehow it's more of a motivation when there are visitors or a wedding taking place. But it was worth the wait.

I engaged Isabella (and her colleagues) in 2013/14 to supply and fit curtains and blinds as part of the refurbishment of an Edwardian residence. Isabella took the brief fully on board and provided very positive input in suggesting solutions appropriate to the brief. The manufacture and fitting was carried to the highest standards, at very reasonable cost. My experience of working with Isabella was overwhelmingly positive. Her work for me was outstanding, really great! So, I would have no hesitation in using Isabella again or in recommending her for any work in her chosen fields.
