“As a home builder, I have found that Charles always takes the time to understand the design/feel I am looking for in a particular home. He is always open to my input in design, and always has great ideas where I am struggling to make something come together just right. He has the ability to take my thoughts from chicken scratch and scribbled drawings on notebook paper and turn them into useable construction documents. When working with our custom home clients, Charles always treats them as though they were long lost friends, and works with them until he gets everything how they want. My relationship with Charles began when I was a superintendent for another home builder, and continued once I branched out on my own. As a person, I know of few people with the sincerity and decorum as Charles. Not only would I recommend Charles as an Architect, he is the only architect that I recommend.”

“In September of 2016, my wife and I began working with Clint of basis Design on our forever home. We presented him with a large stack of house designs and ideas. Each picture or article contained something we liked or thought about including in our new home. He somehow sifted through them all and began to develop the plans which would eventually become the house we had long dreamed of living in. Throughout the process, Clint was extremely attentive to our desires and needs. He is a great listener and has an intuitive approach to planning and house design. He is that rare individual who was able to combine his very creative style with our ideas and concepts and produce a plan that begins with what the client desires and ends with a finished project that is both beautiful and practical and satisfying at every level. We absolutely could not be happier with the finished project. Clint's ability to work effectively with builders and contractors and clients like us is a phenomenal asset when considering a project like a new home. “I am homeowner in an historic preservation district in Oklahoma City. My home is designed in the Prairie School of Architecture and therefore I wanted to work with an architect for a complete interior renovation who would honor the integrity of the original design and also let the space reflect both modernity and sustainability. After interviewing several local architects, I landed on TASK design and Ken Fitzimmons - and have never looked back. I have now lived in the renovated space he designed for more than 5 years and honestly everyday, I fall in love with it all over again. From 30,000 feet, Ken designed the space to be vibrant, lively and also sustainable. Where possible (given the limitations in an historic preservation district) he selected sustainable materials, added elements to make the house more energy efficient and also recycled the materials that were removed during the demolition phase. Aesthetically, there are many clever design elements he conceived that add to the joy of living in this house everyday. It's as if he left a subtle exclamation point in every room! My desire from the outset was to make the space very livable, pleasurable and age friendly for a long time. I'm happy to report - Mission Accomplished! Thanks to Ken and TASK design, I live in a home that is filled with good energy, is efficient, enjoyable, soulful - AND, according to my family, friends and repair people who've been in the house, it's super cool. I highly recommend TASK design, Ken's aesthetic, his integrity and work ethic.”
