A jungle on a hill, is now a place to relax an chill!
A new build where the clients couldn't think what to do wit the space, while they dithered the jungle appeared.
The planting scheme is to reflect the Mediterranean vibe and will be a a tempered jungle in homage to the existing landscape!
Along cam SenanGardens, we listened to the client and how they lived their lives and how they might want to use the garden. We took note of the styles and themes the client may like and went to work on a design.
This was the first concept and layout , and what would you know... they loved it!
This was a design & Build contract with SenanGardens installing the garden after designing the space.

Hand cut polished mint bullnosed sandstone steps leading gently down to a large single sized polished mint sandstone patio. Buzz Prestige artificial grass surrounds the patio and fill the rest of the garden - built up nearly 1 meter & retained by sleeper walls to enable a graded flat finish. Bamboo & peasant grass add texture and a touch of the exotic.
Nordland Landscapes
This garden had originally been installed by the developers of this new-build property. The homeowner, a trained garden designer, provided us with a modernist garden design to replace an outdoor space that didn’t suit their needs. Having a north facing aspect, the garden didn’t get a lot of sunlight.
We used light-coloured porcelain paving from London Stone to help brighten up the garden.
The timber fences were painted a dark colour to create contrast to the light-coloured paving and to give a dark backdrop to frame the planting.
To satisfy the homeowner’s passion for horticulture and to provide much needed colour, we created large flower beds which became the main focus of the garden. We also used a wide variety of trees and plants hand selected and specially cultivated from cuttings by the client.
Due to the sunken nature of the lower patio, there was potential for flooding during heavy rain. To resolve this, we introduced a hidden slot drain that was able to cope with large volumes of water.

Using porcelain paving, rendered walls, artificial grass and cedar screening we have transformed this unusable garden to create a beautiful space for the whole family to enjoy. Using the very best materials that offer long guarantees, this garden will be extremely easy to look after and will remain looking great for years to come.
