Custom fabrication of Victorian style, built in bookcases. Custom trim molding fabrication was implemented to match the original moldings in the home, which was built in 1905.
Lethbridge London
Lethbridge London Ltd were asked by Ben Pentreath to help restore and transform this historic and rather fun first floor sitting room study. The room was taken back to a shell so that the fine details could be rediscovered and enhanced. The house sits in one of Thomas Cubitts Bloomsbury Squares. It has been lovingly restored by the current owners, saving the house from the fate of many similar properties in the square, which have sadly had the historic interiors torn out, ironically, in the name of education!!

Alcove units can completely transform a room, especially when they are bespoke.
In this case, we did Raised & Fielded panel doors in frame with staff bead.
It has a luxurious hand-painted finish on the facade and an Oak Veneered interior.
The result speaks for itself, breathtaking.

This space is a veritable homage to bibliophiles, boasting a magnificent wall-to-wall bookcase that stretches towards the ceiling, its pale finish providing a clean, modern backdrop for the colorful spines of countless books. The two armchairs upholstered in a contemporary fabric in teal with an ikat pattern offer a visually stunning and comfortable nook for reading and relaxation. The chess table, crafted from rich mahogany, adds a touch of traditional sophistication. The soft, luxurious rug underfoot in a muted blue anchors the room, while the contemporary lighting installation with oversized milky orbs adds an avant-garde touch to the classical aesthetic.

View out of study. The client wanted a secluded reading study to hold his large library while also taking advantage of the view over his neighbor's house. In addition the bay window gives a great seating spot.
Maple Mountain Fireplaces
There once was a time when families spent the evening gathered happily around a warm flame, not a television. The Windsor Arch evokes this era, providing timeless beauty and bold craftsmanship.
As Victorian castings accompany highlighted chrome, flames within radiate steady, even heat for many years to come. Unique in design and function, the Windsor Arch combines modern technology with a subtle hint of distinction and elegance from a time once forgotten.

Here, a corner of the room is given its own distinct character through a playful interplay of color and pattern. A piece of modern art bursts with linear vibrancy, setting a dynamic tone that is both fresh and inspiring. The vintage wooden chest with its handsome, rounded drawers speaks to the quality of craftsmanship, serving as a practical yet stylish storage solution. The sunny yellow decorative jars stand out with their floral motifs, offering a cheerful counterpoint to the art’s linear precision. The chair, with its geometric pattern, provides both visual interest and a cozy spot to sit and ponder the room’s eclectic mix of old and new. This corner is a testament to the power of interior design to create pockets of joy and intrigue within a home.

Since the room was so large, we decided to break it down into sections. The center of the room was dedicated to conversations, entertaining and comfort. We included lots of plush seating, a coffee table and loads of interesting objects to look at and touch such as a standing acrylic globe.

Imagine Conception
