I really wanted this room to feel special, like every piece has a story. Since the bedroom is small we rely on each piece of furniture to provide maximum function. This bookcase offers both space for books, space to display treasured pieces and room for toy trucks!
We purchased the 'San Francisco' pennant at a local retail store, which became the inspiration to seek out pennants of both the clients hometown, and that of her husbands. Not finding what we were looking for, we commissioned to have the 'Vancouver' and 'Chicago' pennants made by Etsy vendor 'Savarin and Co.'
The stripes in the blackout drapes, vintage world map pattern in the chair and Ikat pattern in the rug are easy, liveable patterns that can grow with the young boy for many years.

Transitional gender-neutral carpeted kids' room photo in Dallas.
A perfect playroom space for a young girl to grow into. The space contains a custom-made playhouse, complete with a hidden trap door, custom built-in toy storage. In order to make it very interesting to be in, we added a slide coming from the play house. The side of the playhouse has a small soft area with green carpeting to mimic grass and a small picket fence. The rustic laminate wood flooring adds to the cottage theme.

What a fun room for a little boy! Our team decided on a camping theme for this little one complete with a tent bed and an airplane overhead. Custom green built in cabinets provide the perfect reading nook before bedtime. Relaxed bedding and lots of pillows add a cozy feel, along with whimsical animal artwork and masculine touches such as the cowhide rug, camp lantern and rustic wooden night table. The khaki tent bed anchors the room and provides lots of inspiration for creative play, while the punches of bright green add excitement and contrast.

A baby’s nursery designed to be gender neutral and adaptable to the changing needs of a growing child.
The bold yellows in the rug and tiled fireplace provide a strong graphic contrast to the pretty pale blues, pinks and greens, while mid-century teak pops pleasingly against the blue. Vintage French educational posters in the perfect palette are framed on the walls.
