The Association of Pool & Spa ProfessionalsLocated in the basement of the families city home, the stainless steel swimming pool had to be craned into the cramped space in large segments. Once in place welders and plumbing techs came onsite to finish the project. Not your typical swimming pool as this custom pool had large side acrylic panels framed in steel that allows the swimmer underwater views as well as the others to look in the swimming pool giving the lap pool a fish tank effect.

AIBD - American Institute of Building DesignThis brownstone had been left vacant long enough that a large family of 40 cats had taken up residence. Designed in 1878 and fully gutted along the way, this diamond in the rough left an open shell with very little original detail. After gently re-homing the kitty interlopers, building up and out was the primary goal of the owner in order to maximize the buildable area of the lot. While many of the home’s historical features had been destroyed, the owner sought to retain these features where possible. Of the original grand staircase, only one piece, the newel post, could be salvaged and restored.

GuncastGuncast designed this exceptionally luxurious indoor swimming pool and spa with plenty of light flooding into the swimming pool building. The design features include green mosaic tiles, cream tile surround and an additional spa. The building housing the pool is adjacent to the house, and large doors open straight to the landscaped patio and garden. By introducing light through the roof, enables the swimming pool to take on a feel of an outdoor pool, and once all the doors have been opened, it provides a useful space for entertaining and socialising, while ensuring, when the weather turns, the pool is still a functional space.
GuncastGuncast designed and built this impressive indoor swimming pool for Rose Hill Prep School in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It was decided to remove the existing shell and opt for a new installation. A mix of natural light and uncomplicated textures provide a calm, comfortable and efficient environment for children and clubs alike. The new school pool measures 15 metres by 6 metres. The pool water treatment is a fully automatic UV system with vertical sand filtration allowing minimal residual chemical use and a pleasant atmosphere.
