This stunning indoor pool and hot tub in Hinsdale, IL measures 13'0" x 45'5", with the hot tub measuring 6'1" x 7'6". Both the pool and hot tub have automatic pool safety covers. At one end of the lap pool sits a commercial starting block. The coping and pool deck are Valder's Wisconsin Limestone. The pool finish is Ceramaquartz exposed aggregate. GuncastGuncast designed this exceptionally luxurious indoor swimming pool and spa with plenty of light flooding into the swimming pool building. The design features include green mosaic tiles, cream tile surround and an additional spa. The building housing the pool is adjacent to the house, and large doors open straight to the landscaped patio and garden. By introducing light through the roof, enables the swimming pool to take on a feel of an outdoor pool, and once all the doors have been opened, it provides a useful space for entertaining and socialising, while ensuring, when the weather turns, the pool is still a functional space.

Set in a remote district just outside Halfway, Oregon, this working ranch required a water reserve for fire fighting for the newly constructed ranch house. This pragmatic requirement was the catalyst for the unique design approach — having the water reserve serve a dual purpose: fitness and firefighting. Borrowing from the surrounding landscape, two masses — one gabled mass and one shed form — are skewed to each other, recalling the layered hills that surround the home. Internally, the two masses give way to an open, unencumbered space. The use of wood timbers, so fitting for this setting, forms the rhythm to the design, with glass infill opening the space to the surrounding landscape. The calm blue pool brings all of these elements together, serving as a complement to the green prairie in summer and the snow-covered hills in winter.
Prints On GlassWhat better backdrop to a stunningly renovated indoor swimming pool than this 12m wide glass mural of Sydney Harbour. Prints On Glass coordinated with the architect to ensure the mural’s structural integrity, and create a finish that complimented the room and brought the client’s ideas to life.
The client wanted a cityscape where the pool water appeared to flow to the city’s edge, and so we put the client directly in touch with the photographer, and this striking image was the result. Once the image was supplied to us, our design team ensured a seamless manufacturing and print process was in place so that each panel of the custom sized medium format digital print lined up perfectly.
We designed and built a custom crate to deliver the almost half tonne mural to site, where we installed it, and applied a black powder coated aluminium finish.
