Amber Freda Garden DesignWhat a difference a day makes! In one day, we totally transformed this terrace from barren to beautiful. Playing on a contemporary Zen theme, we planted bamboo, a weeping cherry, a crape myrtle, hydrangeas, petunias, feather grasses, and creeping Jenny. We recommended a contemporary looking seating arrangement with red chairs for a pop of bright color. Even a small space like this feels totally different with the addition of lush plantings. The bamboo really helps to soften the view of a nearby building. While it’s almost impossible to have complete privacy in a space like this, the plantings create enough of a buffer to make the space feel more intimate and enclosed than it did previously. Jean Brooks LandscapesThis garden takes advantage of the chimney tops and attics spaces of the urban landscape of the Back Bay- we refer to it as "Mary-Poppinsville". Split in to two areas- seating and dinning/cooking. shrubs, perennials, annuals, and edibles including: herbs, tomatoes, The client is a gourmet chef and uses the foods in his cooking. With limited space, the most popular edible plants that clients ask for are tomatoes and herbs because the herbs can be used in daily cooking and theres nothing to compare to the homegrown tomato. Where space is generous, we also plant blueberries strawberries, raspberries, lettuces, peppers.
Christy Webber LandscapesThis roof deck is an extension of a 1,100 square foot condominium in the trendy River North neighborhood. Christy Webber Landscapes assisted with construction of this green roof which includes a fire pit, water feature, custom stone planters, and an arbor to provide shade. Plantings include perennials that can stand up to the sun and heat. This roof deck was featured on HGTV.

Rooftopia, LLCAt the onset of this project, we found a roof deck garden in dire need of repair after a strong wind storm blew over an older pergola and screen system previously attached to limestone parapet caps. Our goal was to design and install a sturdier low maintenance screen system to protect against any future wind storms. We replaced limestone parapet caps, repaired the roof membrane and flashing, painted the walls and then replaced old stone tiles with sleek porcelain pavers. Our one of a kind hardwood screens add privacy from the windows of the adjacent high rise. Other details include a custom outdoor kitchen, lots of LED lighting to add warmth and illumination in the evening and a variety of gorgeous plants and ornamental trees, some reclaimed from the old garden. All plants are on an automated irrigation system.

Gli angoli sono arricchiti con 4 vasi in resina e sulla parete dell’edificio abbiamo inserito 3 pannelli di verde verticale.
Per la pavimentazione abbiamo scelto una pedana di Iroko, legno ideale per l’esterno.
