Our Clients were at a stage in their life where they could convert a portion of their great room into a wine cellar. We showed them our ideas of taking 6' x 22' and converting this space into a walk in wine cellar. This room is temperature controlled, and the homeowner has an app on their phone that shows them at all times what is going on in their space, to keep an eye on their collection.
We designed the upper soffit area to be a custom art piece with the wine crate lids that they most enjoy. We also kept the colors and the materials fitting for a wine cellar including a Quartzite Slab Backsplash, Granite Countertops, Stack Stone on the side walls for texture, Limestone flooring, Custom Cabinets and Racking systems to hold the many bottles of wine.
This is truly a Wine Lovers Dream!!!

Back in the tasting room, a wall of custom built cabinetry adorns the left side of this space. It features glass shelving to hold liquors, classic wine bottles, or anything you fancy. There is plenty of cabinet and drawer space for you other wine related paraphernalia, glassware, etc.

The custom mahogany racking features double depth bottle storage on the lower half ot the wall. Above that is a canted display row with hidden LED lighting. This creates a drink ledge in front of the display row where you can set down your glass while you enjoy the collection. Above this point, we've provide several other styles of racking with both neck and label forward designs. The evaporator component of the cooling system is obscured by a mahogany diffuser which allows the air to circulate throughout the room.

The pass through cabinetry provides a decanting center accessed both in the wine room and out. Entry door is visible in the back round.

You can see the Optic White Clear Glass was the best option to not distort the color.

When you first walk into the great room, we installed another custom cabinet to be used for snacks and such, as well a family portrait overhead at their favorite winery. I always like to use personal artwork that means something to the client......this one was perfect.

The opposite end of the wine cellar is used for storage with our custom cabinets and glass shelving which displays some other adult beverage options. We used pine plank to wrap the underside of the soffit which houses the electrical and HVAC system. In all this clients has plenty of storage of not only their wine collections, but stemware, carafes, and much more.

Custom made wine cellar for my Dad. I transformed a seldom used sauna room into this beautiful work of art. I had to quote it through several companies because it was very expensive. In the end we hired this craftsman that used melina (a type of cultivated wood) that is very affordable. By staining the wood we achieved this luxury feel. We were able to do the cornices and even the carved column with that type of wood which is made of small slats joined together. The perfect finishing touch was a custom made oil painting of a vineyard to be admired when opening a bottle in the granite countertop.
