This total renovation of this fabulous large country home meant the whole house was taken back to the external walls and roof rafters and all suspended floors dug up. All new Interior layout and two large extensions. 2 months of gutting the property before any building works commenced. This part of the house was in fact an old ballroom and one of the new extensions formed a beautiful new entrance hallway with stunning helical staircase. Our own design handmade and hand painted kitchen with Miele appliances. Painted in a gorgeous soft grey and with a fabulous 3.5 x 1 metre solid wood dovetailed breakfast bar and surround with led lighting. Stunning stone effect large format porcelain tiles which were for the majority of the ground floor, all with under floor heating. Skyframe openings on the ground and first floor giving uninterrupted views of the glorious open countryside. Lutron lighting throughout the whole of the property and Crestron Home Automation. A glass firebox fire was built into this room. for clients ease, giving a secondary heat source, but more for visual effect. 4KTV with plastered in the wall speakers, the wall to the left and right of the TV is only temporary as this will soon be glass entrances and pocket doors with views to the large swimming pool extension with sliding Skyframe opening system. Phase 1 of this 4 phase project with more images to come. The next phase is for the large Swimming Pool Extension, new Garage and Stable Building and sweeping driveway. This custom kitchen is designed for the gourmet chef with sophisticated and refined taste. Surrounded by high transom windows, the shaker-style cabinetry is bold and masculine. Maple is used in contrasting tones, with a hand-rubbed finish. A special feature in the kitchen is the cook zone, framed by a band of obsidian black painted maple that frames the Miele gas range in an art-like way. A professional line of appliances, like the Miele integrated refrigerator, dishwasher, ContourLine warming drawer, single convection oven, microwave drawer oven, and GE Monogram Wine Reserve complete the culinary package.

The hood was custom designed and built for this homeowner. The kitchen features a functional 5- zone design. The drawers offer easy access to pots/pans as well as prep items. The pantry was custom designed with metal slots on the bottom to allow the homeowner great storage for potatoes, onions, squash etc.

"I want people to say 'Wow!' when they walk in to my house" This was our directive for this bachelor's newly purchased home. We accomplished the mission by drafting plans for a significant remodel which included removing walls and columns, opening up the spaces between rooms to create better flow, then adding custom furnishings and original art for a customized unique Wow factor! His Christmas party proved we had succeeded as each person 'wowed!' the spaces! Even more meaningful to us, as Designers, was watching everyone converse in the sitting area, dining room, living room, and around the grand island (12'-6" grand to be exact!) and genuinely enjoy all the fabulous, yet comfortable spaces.

A kitchen that is set up like this at this level has to go all the way! Every area just has to work and work just right, the appliances had to be high end, the cabinets had to be all custom crafted, double crown moldings molded to the ceiling, the LED lights were all factory cut into the sides and the bottom of the cabinets then covered with light strips for a flush inset look, to match these high-end sophisticated cabinets and new door styles. The island is a monster! it had to perform quadruple duty, prepping, storage and seating. Every inch of that Island was utilized for something, this goes to the heart of our philosophy, which is; no dead/useless space shall be design into any kitchen! The custom color on this island just happen to compliment other areas of this house that made it even more stunning! By the time the dust settled, all we can say was STUNNING! Just stunning.
