Dig Your Garden Landscape DesignNight view with low voltage pathway and garden lighting enhance the beauty of this expansive back yard landscape remodel that has been transformed into a relaxing outdoor retreat. The remodel includes a wraparound deck, an expansive travertine natural stone patio, stairways and pathways along with concrete retaining walls and column accents with dramatic planters. The pathways meander throughout the landscape... some with travertine stepping stones and gravel and those below the majestic oaks left natural with fallen leaves. Raised vegetable beds and fruit trees occupy some of the sunniest areas of the landscape. A variety of low-water and low-maintenance plants for both sunny and shady areas include several succulents, grasses, CA natives and other site-appropriate Mediterranean plants complimented by a variety of boulders. Nature's TouchThree levels of water, two large rock waterfalls and two fire features make up the luxury swimming pool and deck for Platte County Paradise. The highest pool level features a hot tub from which water spills into the main pool. From the main pool, an infinity edge that runs 30 feet in length spills water down 8 feet into the plunge pool. A slide wraps around a rock water fall and ends in the plunge pool. A beautiful stone and iron staircase escorts you and your guests to the slide. For this rustic design, all rocks were drilled and pinned into the gunnite shell with apoxy. The grotto was built so that swimmers can enter from either side to find seating. The cave is designed to hold a large group for parties. We installed two fire features; one is intended for a large gathering where outdoor couches offer seating. The other feature is at patio level. This luxury pool contains every amenity imaginable including a swim-up bar, full and cabana dry stacked with stone and featuring timber that was selected from the property.
Wentworth LandscapesThis project is a reflection of modern design and style, and incorporates natural materials and features that had no limitations. Every attention to detail was considered and applied to the design and construction of this waterside beauty.
The property is entered through a long meandering laneway, which is bordered with exposed aggregate concrete banding that visually connects to the parking area and the accenting paver design. On arrival, you are greeted with two very large planter box features that offer plantings of luxuriant seasonal interest and beauty. The perennials, shrubs and trees were all carefully selected to reflect the client’s tastes and lifestyle. The lighting design utilizes a wide variety of strategies and techniques, from shadowing and wall washing, to grazing and moonlighting. The result is a magical night garden that filled with wonder.
The large patio terrace begins with an impressive 17’ long granite bar and outdoor kitchen, great for entertaining and cooking. Whether sunbathing, lounging or hot-tubbing, this outdoor living area is an adult’s paradise ready to be enjoyed. Large, terraced armourstone boulder walls retain and stabilize the shoreline.
The client’s morning typically begins with a dip in the hot tub with its automated cover, and is an easy trek in the winter as the patio terrace has an in-ground heating system to keep the snow and ice clear. The furniture was specifically planned from the initial design, as sunbathing loungers, couches/armchairs and barstools are all matching and unified. Key landscape features from previous gardens were incorporated into this property, including their beloved NestRest hanging over the water’s edge. This unique focal point is anchored and cantilevered through a custom mast and boom system, reflecting the client’s love for sailing.
The end result of this project is the epitome taste, style and a persistent dedication towards perfection.
Legacy Landscape Design, LLCThese clients had tried multiple times to grow grass in their shaded back yard. We encouraged them to try artificial turf. It looks great! It's no maintenance, no watering, fertilizing, weeding. Just blow it off. We also added a dry creek bed for water management and some low stone walls for accents, as well as shade loving planting.
ARNOLD Masonry & LandscapeThis is one of our most recent all inclusive hardscape and landscape projects completed for wonderful clients in Sandy Springs / North Atlanta, GA.
Project consisted of completely stripping backyard and creating a clean pallet for new stone and boulder retaining walls, a firepit and stone masonry bench seating area, an amazing flagstone patio area which also included an outdoor stone kitchen and custom chimney along with a cedar pavilion. Stone and pebble pathways with incredible night lighting. Landscape included an incredible array of plant and tree species , new sod and irrigation and potted plant installations.

Toms Creek Nursery & LandscapingRear lake access. Grade was retained using large boulders. Concrete slab steps and a paver walkway provide a safe path to the lake for this hilly property.

Raised planters and hedges surrounding existing trees, new pavers, fire features - fireplace and fire pits, flower beds, new shrubs, trees, landscape lighting, sunken pool dining cabana, swim up bar, tennis court, soccer field, edible garden, iron trellis, private garden, and stunning paver entryways.
Erik Jones LandscapingThis Waterfall, which is the start of this large waterfeature, acts as the Cornerstone for this Project. A number of the boulders are up to 8 feet across! About 1200 gallons a minute (72,000gph) flows over this waterfall. The waterfeature moves 2000 gallons a minute (120,000gph) when everything is flowing!
The waterfall drops about 17' in total and the stream drops about 3' for a total of 20' of elevation change. There are koi, goldfish, and shubunkins in the pond!
The pond is used for vineyard irrigation as well as aesthetics.
