A Modern bespoke built in wall cabinet. The cabinet was designed to store a variety of household accessories surround a 65" TV, great for Friday night movies. LED lights were added to brighten the space, great both day and night to show off books and family pictures. All internals are in Oak coated in Osmo oil hardware 'clear'. The rest of the furniture is all spray finished in Farrow and Ball 'Stiff Key Blue' with a 10% sheen. All carefully designed, made and fitted in-house by Davies and Foster.

Our clients wanted a space where they could relax, play music and read. The room is compact and as professors, our clients enjoy to read. The challenge was to accommodate over 800 books, records and music. The space had not been touched since the 70’s with raw wood and bent shelves, the outcome of our renovation was a light, usable and comfortable space. Burnt oranges, blues, pinks and reds to bring is depth and warmth. Bespoke joinery was designed to accommodate new heating, security systems, tv and record players as well as all the books. Our clients are returning clients and are over the moon!

This living room started out with dusty rose carpeting and walls and a mish mash of cheap furniture. It needed a complete overhaul. The first step was to identify the room's purpose. While technically it is a living room, it is connected via open space to the dining room, kitchen, and family room...thus, it was really more of an extension of the most used, common areas of the home. It was also the first room that visitors see when entering the home, and thus, it needed to be beautiful. While the space is more refined than the other common areas of the home, it is still relaxed enough to be used everyday, and it is. It's TV is used regularly to watch the big sporting events of the week and its also a cozy place with comfortable, oversize chairs and sofas to curl up and read a book or play a card game by the gas fireplace. Built In Media Wall Unit spanning from wall to wall and enclosing alcoves and protruding chimney breast. The brief for the design was to create a contemporary fitted media cabinet with storage, shelving and lighting that would reduce the traditional look of the room. The media wall has touch open doors on concealed hinges with LED lighting spanning the width of the furniture. All the electronic hardware and games consoles are located in the lower cupboards with wiring routed behind the furniture so that it is not seen. We created a botanical-inspired scheme for this Victorian terrace living room updating the wall colour to Inchyra Blue on the walls and including a pop a colour in the lamp shades. We redesigned the floorplan to make the room practical and comfortable. Built-in storage in a complementary blue was introduced to keep the tv area tidy. We included two matching side tables in an aged bronze finish with a bevelled glass top and mirrored bottom shelves to maximise the light. We sourced and supplied the furniture and accessories including the Made to Measure Olive Green Sofa and soft furnishings.
