Light and Airy Transitional

Creating a clean home with fresh interiors was the direction for the designers. Being involved in the architectural planning and design, lighting design, space planning, material selection, custom drapery and furniture design, and finish selections, the designers began by using architectural details of brickwork, ledge-stone and limestone flooring. The antique bricks used as stair risers also help relate the gallery and kitchen floors. Custom designed iron, hand-scraped walnut flooring, and custom stains unified the areas and set the tone for the furnishings in the house. A modern cream wall finish reflected the homeowners’ personality and helped highlight the quality art featured. Photo By: Don Glentzer
