Titan Stairs, Utah!This is a recent remodel we completed. Unfortunately no before picture but it was a very dated traditional oak railing system. We used Hammered Iron Spindles and a custom Turned Newel Post. The wood is Clear Alder.
Brent Gibson Classic Home DesignThis secondary staircase and mud area highlighted with wool carpet by Kane. The bench seating is lined with stained bead board creating a warm entrance from the carriage house.
Axis MundiPacking a lot of function into a small space requires ingenuity and skill, exactly what was needed for this one-bedroom gut in the Meatpacking District. When Axis Mundi was done, all that remained was the expansive arched window. Now one enters onto a pristine white-walled loft warmed by new zebrano plank floors. A new powder room and kitchen are at right. On the left, the lean profile of a folded steel stair cantilevered off the wall allows access to the bedroom above without eating up valuable floor space. Beyond, a living room basks in ample natural light. To allow that light to penetrate to the darkest corners of the bedroom, while also affording the owner privacy, the façade of the master bath, as well as the railing at the edge of the mezzanine space, are sandblasted glass. Finally, colorful furnishings, accessories and photography animate the simply articulated architectural envelope.

Kimberly Demmy DesignThis rustic modern home was purchased by an art collector that needed plenty of white wall space to hang his collection. The furnishings were kept neutral to allow the art to pop and warm wood tones were selected to keep the house from becoming cold and sterile. Published in Modern In Denver | The Art of Living.

Deluxe Stair & Railing LtdThe Lakeview project looks like an endless supply of stairs and railings, in which it is. Not a single support post or wall to be found to hold up these stairs, all are self-supporting. The main floor post is used as the focal point while the others are simplified and square in profile for a clean look.
The handrail is made of Red Oak flat cut and in an "P" profile. The spindles are a plain alternating single knuckle profile in a unique "hammered" effect, in a Textured Black finish. The main post is made at a 4" x 4" dimension with a built-out base at 6" x 6", while the rest are 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" plain square, all in Red Oak flat cut.

HP Rovinelli ArchitectsThe main stair of the house weaves around a mahogany clad wall. Slender balusters of copper echo the use of copper throughout the house.
