We redesigned a smaller-original, kitchen at Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning, CA. We completely redesigned the space, and added a ton of extra storage. These particular cabinets are a raised panel maple door, with soft closing features on both the doors, and the solid wood dove-tailed drawers. These cabinets are made out of plywood. We then added a travertine backsplash, and new 24"x24" tile floors on a running-bond pattern.

This bold and blue traditional kitchen was designed by Bilotta’s Jeni Spaeth with Interior Designer Jane Bell of Jane Bell Interiors. Designed for a bachelor’s penthouse, the view from the apartment spectacularly overlooks Westchester County with sights as far as Manhattan. Featuring Bilotta Collection Cabinetry in a 1” thick door, the design team strayed far from the classic white kitchen and opted for a regal shade of blue on the perimeter and natural walnut on the island. The color palette is further emphasized by the polished Blue Bahia granite top on the island and beautifully accented by the pops of gold used for the decorative hardware. The focal point of the kitchen is the Cornu Fe range, the Albertine model in black with satin nickel and polished brass accents. The accompanying hood is a custom design by Rangecraft in brushed stainless with satin gold elements. The countertop and backsplash surrounding the hearth area are in soft beige tones, a needed contrast to the darker hues of the cabinets and range. The L-shaped layout, with seating at the island, allows for wide-open views into the adjoining rooms and to the city below through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

This Louisville, Kentucky, Residential Kitchen Remodel displays a mix of surfaces and textures. Custom glass countertop is paired with butcher block, warm-white painted cabinets, black appliances, under-mount sink and a stone- tile back splash for a transitional kitchen design that is both sophisticated and accessible. This galley kitchen is a more traditional, french country design, elevated by the clever surprise of the custom, blue green glass counter top. Cast and Fused glass is machine edged, hand polished and back painted; Fabrication by J.C. Moag Glass, located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and servicing Ketuckiana and the Ohio valley area. J.C. This remodel took this 1950s Arcadia neighborhood bungalow back to its mid-century modern roots while providing the owners with a brand new modern kitchen and spacious great room. By using insulated horizontal metal siding, and large expanses of glass this low slung desert home stays both cool and bright. In this image, the eat-in galley style kitchen is composed of dark wenge lower cabinets and glass upper cabinets with matching brushed nickel drawer pulls, and a book matched cararra marble tile backsplash. A flat glass cooktop, build in oven, and hidden dishwasher are seamlessly integrated into the clean lines of the kitchen. March 2020 marked the launch of LIVDEN, a curated line of innovative decorative tiles made from 60-100% recycled materials. In the months leading up to our launch, we were approached by Palm Springs design firm, Juniper House, for a collaboration on one of the featured homes of 2020 Modernism Week, the Mesa Modern. The LUNA series in the Medallion color on 12x12 Crystallized Terrazzo tile was featured as the main kitchen's backsplash. The LUNA was paired with matte black cabinetry, brass hardware, and custom mid-century lighting installations. The main kitchen was packed with color, texture and modern design elements.

This renovation included a brand new addition added before the project started by the customer. Our design team worked with the new dimensions and created a beautifully warm and welcoming new kitchen. New natural stone tile backsplash, maple cabinets, granite countertops, and luxury vinyl tile made to look like stone, all add to the warm essence of the space.

Of course you might be constricted by space, but try to envisage the easiest and most efficient layout based on how you usually like to cook and prepare your food. You can add a breakfast bar or counter to your existing kitchen units, or stick with a good old-fashioned dining table if you don’t need the extra work surfaces. How do I choose my kitchen units and cabinets?

It’s always best to overestimate how much kitchen storage you’ll need as we all tend to have a habit of filling up whatever current space we have to the maximum. Next you can consider kitchen cabinet style and colour. Shaker style cabinets and raised and recessed panel cabinets offer a more traditional kitchen cabinet look, while flat panel cabinet doors tend to lend more to the modern and contemporary style. However, going for raised or recessed panel work in a striking colour such as dark blue, green or black can still work with contemporary kitchen ideas. White kitchens can give a sleek and clean feel, but remember you may have to do a bit more cleaning of those cupboard doors if you want everything to stay shiny and fresh. Of course, grey kitchens are the neutral colour choice du jour and can be paired with pale and rich shades alike if you want your fitted kitchen cupboards to contrast with your worktop, splashback, floor, or all of the above. Whilst a large kitchen pantry is the dream of most homeowners, it can’t always be a reality. However, there are now lots of pull out compartments and drawers with trays and shelving that can act as mini kitchen pantries, and you can install handy cupboard organisers that fit onto the inside of the door to make the most of your cupboard space. You can also look at corner drawers and cupboards that open up to reveal lots of extra storage. Kitchen ideas and accessories such as baskets, trolleys and storage jars are both aesthetically pleasing and practical as they give you extra storage space.
