For this project, London-based interior designers, Olive Design Studio commissioned us to manufacture and install a number of bespoke joinery items throughout this Fitzrovia apartment. Our work included everything from the TV wall with fully automated sliding decorative panels, to revamping the kitchen with new doors and face panels. Working alongside our sister company GMS Metalwork, we were able to achieve flawless integration of bespoke antique brass inlays and trims within the cabinetry.

ArtichokeArtichoke
Artichoke worked with the renowned interior designer Ilse Crawford to develop the style of this bespoke kitchen in a Grade II listed Regency house. We made two furniture ‘elements’ providing the main functions for the kitchen. Care has been taken not to interfere with the original interior architecture of the room. Tall Georgian windows enable light to flood over the furniture as well as providing delightful views of the grounds. Limited palettes of fine quality materials help create the feeling of an art installation, enhancing the drama of this fabulous room. Primary materials: Bookmatched Statuary marble and hand burnished gloss pigmented lacquer. The kitchen scullery is in English oak, finished in soap, a traditional Georgian period finish.

Completed in 2017, this project features midcentury modern interiors with copper, geometric, and moody accents. The design was driven by the client's attraction to a grey, copper, brass, and navy palette, which is featured in three different wallpapers throughout the home. As such, the townhouse incorporates the homeowner's love of angular lines, copper, and marble finishes. The builder-specified kitchen underwent a makeover to incorporate copper lighting fixtures, reclaimed wood island, and modern hardware. In the master bedroom, the wallpaper behind the bed achieves a moody and masculine atmosphere in this elegant "boutique-hotel-like" room. The children's room is a combination of midcentury modern furniture with repetitive robot motifs that the entire family loves. Like in children's space, our goal was to make the home both fun, modern, and timeless for the family to grow into. This project has been featured in Austin Home Magazine, Resource 2018 Issue. --- Project designed by the Atomic Ranch featured modern designers at Breathe Design Studio. From their Austin design studio, they serve an eclectic and accomplished nationwide clientele including in Palm Springs, LA, and the San Francisco Bay Area. This kitchen project uses our Coffee Cake 3×6″ field tile, and adds visual interest with the multi-colored Mississippi border. The custom border uses four different sized tiles of seven different colors to draw the eye horizontally across the kitchen. It’s masterfully paired with a neutral field tile which complements both the border and the kitchen cabinets.

Everything HomeEverything Home
We brightened up this 10-year-old house on a modest budget. We lightened the kitchen countertops and backsplash tiles to contrast with the existing cabinetry and flooring. We gave the living room a comfortable coastal vibe with lighter walls, updated fireplace tiles, and new furniture arranged to include wheelchair access and a pet play area. --- Project completed by Wendy Langston's Everything Home interior design firm, which serves Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, and Indianapolis.
