A contemporary, Mid-Century Modern kitchen refresh with gorgeous high-gloss white and walnut wood cabinetry paired with bright, red accents. The flooring is a beautifully speckled Terrazzo tile. Open shelving against a reclaimed brick backsplash is brightened up with recessed lighting. Our designer, Mackenzie Cain, created this truly unique kitchen for these stylish homeowners.

A major kitchen remodel to a spectacular mid-century residence in the Tucson foothills. Project scope included demo of the north facing walls and the roof. The roof was raised and picture windows were added to take advantage of the fantastic view. New terrazzo floors were poured in the renovated kitchen to match the existing floor throughout the home. Dans cette maison datant de 1993, il y avait une grande perte de place au RDCH; Les clients souhaitaient une rénovation totale de ce dernier afin de le restructurer. Ils rêvaient d'un espace évolutif et chaleureux. Nous avons donc proposé de re-cloisonner l'ensemble par des meubles sur mesure et des claustras. Nous avons également proposé d'apporter de la lumière en repeignant en blanc les grandes fenêtres donnant sur jardin et en retravaillant l'éclairage. Et, enfin, nous avons proposé des matériaux ayant du caractère et des coloris apportant du peps!

Après plusieurs visites d'appartement, nos clients décident d'orienter leurs recherches vers un bien à rénover afin de pouvoir personnaliser leur futur foyer. Leur premier achat va se porter sur ce charmant 80 m2 situé au cœur de Paris. Souhaitant créer un bien intemporel, ils travaillent avec nos architectes sur des couleurs nudes, terracota et des touches boisées. Le blanc est également au RDV afin d'accentuer la luminosité de l'appartement qui est sur cour. La cuisine a fait l'objet d'une optimisation pour obtenir une profondeur de 60cm et installer ainsi sur toute la longueur et la hauteur les rangements nécessaires pour être ultra-fonctionnelle. Elle se ferme par une élégante porte art déco dessinée par les architectes. Dans les chambres, les rangements se multiplient ! Nous avons cloisonné des portes inutiles qui sont changées en bibliothèque; dans la suite parentale, nos experts ont créé une tête de lit sur-mesure et ajusté un dressing Ikea qui s'élève à présent jusqu'au plafond. Bien qu'intemporel, ce bien n'en est pas moins singulier. A titre d'exemple, la salle de bain qui est un clin d'œil aux lavabos d'école ou encore le salon et son mur tapissé de petites feuilles dorées.

Le projet Gaîté est une rénovation totale d’un appartement de 85m2. L’appartement avait baigné dans son jus plusieurs années, il était donc nécessaire de procéder à une remise au goût du jour. Nous avons conservé les emplacements tels quels. Seul un petit ajustement a été fait au niveau de l’entrée pour créer une buanderie. Le vert, couleur tendance 2020, domine l’esthétique de l’appartement. On le retrouve sur les façades de la cuisine signées Bocklip, sur les murs en peinture, ou par touche sur le papier peint et les éléments de décoration. Les espaces s’ouvrent à travers des portes coulissantes ou la verrière permettant à la lumière de circuler plus librement.

You can add a breakfast bar or counter to your existing kitchen units, or stick with a good old-fashioned dining table if you don’t need the extra work surfaces. That said, if you do have the room, take a look at some kitchen island ideas to see if the designs inspire you for your kitchen. There are a huge variety of island designs to cater to different needs – you can have sinks, ovens, hobs, wine storage and all sorts of drawers and organisers built-in, you can have separate bars and counters that extend from your island, or you could go for a kitchen island on wheels to make your kitchen layout more versatile.

How do I choose my kitchen units and cabinets?

It’s always best to overestimate how much kitchen storage you’ll need as we all tend to have a habit of filling up whatever current space we have to the maximum. Next you can consider kitchen cabinet style and colour. Shaker style cabinets and raised and recessed panel cabinets offer a more traditional kitchen cabinet look, while flat panel cabinet doors tend to lend more to the modern and contemporary style. However, going for raised or recessed panel work in a striking colour such as dark blue, green or black can still work with contemporary kitchen ideas. White kitchens can give a sleek and clean feel, but remember you may have to do a bit more cleaning of those cupboard doors if you want everything to stay shiny and fresh. Of course, grey kitchens are the neutral colour choice du jour and can be paired with pale and rich shades alike if you want your fitted kitchen cupboards to contrast with your worktop, splashback, floor, or all of the above. However, there are now lots of pull out compartments and drawers with trays and shelving that can act as mini kitchen pantries, and you can install handy cupboard organisers that fit onto the inside of the door to make the most of your cupboard space. You can also look at corner drawers and cupboards that open up to reveal lots of extra storage. Rails or small shelves along your kitchen walls or splashback can help with hanging utensils or pans, or storing small items like herbs and spices in an usually empty space. Kitchen ideas and accessories such as baskets, trolleys and storage jars are both aesthetically pleasing and practical as they give you extra storage space.
