Kitchen Ideas and Designs
A bright and spacious extension to a semi-detached family home in North London. The clients brief was to create a new kitchen and dining area that would be more suited to their family needs, and full of lots of sunlight. Using a large roof light and crittal style doors, we connected the new kitchen to the garden, allowing the family to use the space all year round.

This kitchen was a repaint and revamp of existing, but the transformation is incredible!
Kitchen Connection of Ascot (KCA)
This contemporary kitchen was designed and installed by KCA as part of a renovation of the garden apartment in a Grade II listed property in New Town, Edinburgh by Barclay Interiors. The project has been shortlisted for an International Design and Architecture award. As space was limited, the kitchen is built along one wall with two large windows to allow natural light to flow into the space. The light colour scheme ensures that the kitchen feels bright and also complements the overall interior design style of the apartment. Open shelving creates practical storage space, whilst creating an area to display objects and accessories that add personality to the kitchen. The polished white Macaubus worktops complement the light colour scheme whilst adding interest and the horizontal veining enhances the feeling of space. As the apartment is a luxury holiday rental, the kitchen had to be easy to maintain and highly durable so handleless, laminate cabinetry was chosen. To maintain the minimalist design, many of the appliances were integrated to hide them away with only the Siemens oven and induction hob on show. The kitchen cleverly conceals a fridge, washing machine and extractor, making this a compact yet highly functional kitchen. Photography by James Balston Photography.

Have it all with an added touch of luxury, with this contemporary kitchen design from Tom Howley. This stunning kitchen island has been designed with socialising in mind. As well as providing extra space for preparing food or serving canapés, we created a social space for guests to sit and share a glass of wine. Friends can gather and chat while you cook, or the children can sit and do their homework before dinner, turning your kitchen into a social hub.

This calm, inviting kitchen space provided us with the perfect opportunity to showcase our Modular Kitchen range. The simple, square wide door pattern aligns with our clients’ choice of a soft, neutral colour scheme creating a light, bright space where the high ceilings, exposed beams and other architectural features of the property are allowed to truly shine. The use of unlipped birch ply for the shelves and cutlery inserts of our Modular range further underlines this celebration of natural features and materials. We believe this design is both beautiful in it’s simplicity and yet clever in it’s functionality. The ceiling extractor has been concealed behind one of the supporting beams, the area by the door has been turned into a boot room and utility, while the alcoves have been repurposed to provide both a walk-in pantry and some wine storage. The Modular Kitchen; quality without compromise.

Beautiful contemporary design with grey concrete and light grey matte lacquer doors. The grey tones are blended harmoniously with a lovely bookmatched worktop and an antique mirror splashback, adding a final touch with our special Liebherr Handleless Wine Cooler!
A contemporary, flat panel kitchen in little Greene shade of French Grey. L shape layout making the most of the onlong room with a step-back larder to provide plenty of storage without being in the way keeping a clear passage through to the garden and room for a dining table.

Kitchen is a mix of classic and modern styles with the island in a concrete flat door and the U shape in Hartforth Blue shaker. The Silestone worktops are in Bianco River which works really well with both the door finishes. The space was a major change from the original layout with the backdoor being blocked in and the creation of an island with seating on end and side.

"The whole team at Design Interiors were excellent! They were friendly and professional and our designer Fay was very patient in adapting our design to our ever changing ideas, requests and budget! Our finished kitchen is beautiful and the installation team were also very courteous and efficient. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a stunning new kitchen!" Our clients who have a young family visited our Hove showroom when passing by. They were drawn to our Traditional Kitchens & loved this style for their newly purchased home. They wanted to create an industrial loft feel to the space & loved the idea of an exposed brick wall. It was important for them to have a large American Fridge Freezer for busy family life & they knew they wanted a range cooker look & style with modern day technology. Fay created the desired look & feel as well as designing the practical elements to meet the clients brief & specification.
A new side extension allows for a generous new kitchen with direct link to the garden. Big generous sliding doors allow for fluid movement between the interior and the exterior. A big roof light was designed to flood the space with natural light. An exposed beam crossed the roof light and ceiling and gave us the opportunity to express it with a nice vivid colour which gives personality to the space.
The new owners of this traditional semi in Cardiff wanted to create a light, bright sleek kitchen that was contemporary but not stark. Most of thec upboard doors were painted in a soft shade of chalky white whilst the tall larder and fridge were in oak to add warmth and richness to the room. Adding in an open shelving unit in a dark grey to pick up the colour of the quartz worktop brought the separate elements of the room together. The original galley kitchen had been extended to open up the space so to counteract the corridor effect this created we divided the area into kitchen and hallway by making a tall cloaks cupboard and low level area for keys and telephones in white to tie in with the kitchen but create a divide between the two separate areas..
