Stunning home bar with unique light column, gemstone counter top, glass door cabinetry, two level counter-top, fancy bar stools. Opens to dining area, living room area. Fabric sandwiched glass back splash. Light column routed into floor. We built a curved plaster soffit to mimic the curve of the bar. We placed the wall paper on one section of the sheet rock soffit. Creating the curve takes skill and precision. Custom pullouts for alcohol.

A bright, octagonal shaped sunroom and wraparound deck off the living room give this home its ageless appeal. A private sitting room off the largest master suite provides a peaceful first-floor retreat. Upstairs are two additional bedroom suites and a private sitting area while the walk-out downstairs houses the home’s casual spaces, including a family room, refreshment/snack bar and two additional bedrooms.

The kitchen, family room and bar area focus on modern elements with a splash of glam. We left the, previously earth toned, stacked stone walls but painted them white to blend with the new, modern feel. Granite countertops, glass front white cabinets, and the sparkly, glass mosaic tile backsplash match the kitchen. The beaded pendant lights t add a little more glam.

An island houses the cooking console with an overhead chimney and storage drawers beneath. This is flanked by a work top and appliances at one end and a built-in glass cabinet at the other. Black finish door framed and blue panelled shelves add a fun element to this otherwise clinical space. This piece of furniture doubles up as a bar and houses liquor, glassware and books on imbibing, charcuterie and all things fine.

Photo by Bruce Frame. This bar area just off the kitchen is a custom built-in the utilizes dark wood tones in contrast to the white tile and white tones in the granite top. The glass fronted cabinets and mirrored backsplash give the bar a sense of openness and lightness.
