I was asked to design a compact wet bar for the space under the stairs that led to the roof deck. Problem solved! This design features glass-door upper cabinets with a sink base and panels for the lower portion that were designed around a compact beverage center and a bar sink. Quartz counters and oil rubbed bronze faucet highlight this project. Sleek subway tiles in white provide the perfect backdrop for this small but useful space!

Creating a bar area off of the kitchen gives this contemporary space visual interest while adding an expansion to the kitchen. It is the perfect place to have guests sit while entertaining for them to be apart of your presence but not sitting in the mess of the dinner preparation.

Wall on the left is fabric, the floor is tile with a wood look, and the countertops are Quartz.
The two dark brown doors allow access to the back of the theater gear rack below and the Lutron dimmers above. The lighter mahogany door is the entrance to the theater.

This stained walnut cabinetry creates the perfect base for this rustic yet chic bar. We combined a few modern elements, like stainless steel appliances, a concrete under mount sink, and matte black plumbing, with the rustic backsplash and natural stained open shelves to create this refined look.

This newly completed custom home project was all about clean lines, symmetry and to keep the home feeling sleek and contemporary but warm and welcoming at the same time. This basement bar is simple and classic, with a touch of fun. The dark matte stain on the custom cabinets makes you stop and stay a while while the glasses sparkling in the glass cabinetry and the lights hitting the iridescent backsplash help draw your eyes throughout the space.

Motor City Granite and Cabinets did it again! Our Newcastle clients were looking for an updated, fresh space for their basement bar. Using our cabinet design and installation services, our clients went with cabinets from Fabuwood, in Espresso from their Allure/Galaxy line. Counters in Pure White, slabs supplied by Universal Granite and Marble (Detroit). Motor City Granite fabricated and installed the quartz counters to make the space, fresh, clean and modern.
