Our remodel of this family home took advantage of a breathtaking view of Lake Minnetonka. We installed a four-chair lounge on what was previously a formal porch, satisfying the couple’s desire for a warm, cozy ambience. An uncommon shade of pale, soothing blue as the base color creates a cohesive, intimate feeling throughout the house. Custom pieces, including a server and bridge, and mahjong tables, communicate to visitors the homeowners’ unique sensibilities cultivated over a lifetime. The dining room features a richly colored area rug featuring fruits and leaves – an old family treasure.

The ultimate basement upgrade ?
We can’t get enough of the custom details on this gorgeous basement bar! Our artisans added reeded paneling, appliance covers, and a stained white oak upper cabinet with high gloss black doors.
In addition to the bar, this basement’s complete with a workout room, living room, and a home theater. It doesn’t get much better than that!

The simple Navy cabinets, pendant glass lights, and playful, scallop-patterned backsplash engage the senses by reflecting the blues of the nearby water, while the wall of white subway tile delineates the kitchen from the rest of the open area. This has the effect of drawing the eye up to the vaulted ceiling, which complements the house’s architecture instead of fighting it.
The once-dingy space is now alive with light and color, adding an exciting new dimension to this waterside home.
