Nobody said that a home office had to be boring! In fact, a home office is the perfect place to show your personality and leave your mark.
This office is now a fun and productive place where the clients are happy to work inside. In the client’s words:
“I love working in my new office! I am so much more productive, energetic, creative, and feel like I can take on the day as I walk into work”.

The office space is all about small works of art that each one has meaning and a story. The collage os made to show you can incorporate all that is important to you and fueled inspired. The mood board is part of the designers work and changes for every project. Table lamps at the end of the desk males the space look more fun and thought out. The combination of colors is still the common denominator through out the house.

This home office/library was the favorite room of the clients and ourselves. The vaulted ceilings and high walls gave us plenty of room to create the bookshelves of the client's dreams.

As part of a partnership with ATG Stores and Decorist to design a home office in a Seattle showhouse, our goal was to create an eclectic and lived-in feel for the homeowners. Since the office is situated in a central part of the home, open to the double-volume space and with prime views of the downtown Seattle waterfront, we wanted to keep the palette fairly neutral. We filled this neutral palette with personality and character, creating great contrast and layering on lots of texture. We fearlessly mixed metals for added flair, incorporated amazing lighting to create mood and ambience, and brought in a graphic wall covering for heightened style. With the existing built-ins remaining, we applied our firm’s Splendid Living approach to create functional style and an open office feel by optimizing storage, giving the whole unit an upgrade with a fresh coat of paint and then adding Pulp Home hardware. The result is a functional home office that exudes fearless style. Photography by Jeff Beck

This industrial condo in Roger's Park got a complete overhaul. The layout remained while all finishes, flooring and furniture were upgraded. The tall ceilings and large windows are the focal point of the space and so we kept it light and bright, while mixing textures and finishes to create interest. The client's own eclectic art and object collections pair perfectly with the pops of color in the furniture and accessories. The hand glazed kitchen backsplash tile is the perfect contrast to the white, wood and stainless steel and nods to the changing colors of the lake view across.

This home office was designed to be fun and inspiring. The room is filled with DIY projects including recycled white end tables, recycled art work and bulletin board using a frame from MOMA. The wall pattern was based on a gigantic pizza box I cut into a circle. See how it was done on my blog under DIY Ideas- www.loveyourroom.blogspot.com. The coffee table is a mid century modern antique, and the sofa and desk are from IKEA.
