Rachel from Shades Of Blue Interiors has such great style. We were thrilled to work with her on the makeover for the windows in her living and dining room. Her style is a little mix of farmhouse, french country, with rustic touches. We love everything about it. We were called in to remodel this barn house for a new home owner with a keen eye for design.

Although Gayle's favorite summertime spot is in the back sun porch, it is the living room that gets her vote throughout the cold months, thanks to the wood-burning fireplace. "Need I say more?!", she jokes.
The feeling of the space is akin to an elegant lodge, with a cut stone hearth and plenty of wood. Gary splits logs to stack alongside the fireplace, which brings both form and function to the arrangement.

View from the summer kitchen to the living area of the Family room. The original barn beam structure was re-introduced and is well defined through the use of light colored wall and ceiling elements. Our collaboration with Papyrus Home Design was a big part of the success of this project.

Drawing inspiration from early French and American architecture, the Rustic Reclaimed Solid Wood Room Divider combines modern functionality with woods reclaimed from old buildings for a "found" appeal that is as striking as it is livable. Add style to your home office, living room or entryway.
Dimensions: 63"W x 15"D x 35"H
Solid reclaimed wood
Sanded and finished with a clear sealer & wax.
100% fsc certified.
Wipe to clean
Each piece is unique and no two are exactly alike.
Construction: Reclaimed timbers are finished with two coats of matte lacquer, which allows the wood to maintain a rustic look through its small imperfections (note: saw marks, knots, and nail holes). The final finish is unique to each piece and will vary.

Repurposed beams, matching the home's original timber frame, and a tongue and groove ceiling add texture and a rustic aesthetic to the remodeled greeting room. These details draw visitors' attention upward, and the vaulted ceiling makes the room feel spacious. It also has a rebuilt gas fireplace and existing slate floor. The greeting room is a balanced mix of rustic and refined details, complementing the home's character.
