While the majority of APD designs are created to meet the specific and unique needs of the client, this whole home remodel was completed in partnership with Black Sheep Construction as a high end house flip. From space planning to cabinet design, finishes to fixtures, appliances to plumbing, cabinet finish to hardware, paint to stone, siding to roofing; Amy created a design plan within the contractor’s remodel budget focusing on the details that would be important to the future home owner. What was a single story house that had fallen out of repair became a stunning Pacific Northwest modern lodge nestled in the woods!

I used tumbled travertine tiles on the floor, and warm woods and polished nickels on the other finishes to create a warm, textural, and sophisticated environment that doesn't feel stuffy.

Warm golds and cool grays work to make this farmhouse style bathroom look luxe.

Small bathroom spaces without windows can present a design challenge. Our solution included selecting a beautiful aspen tree wall mural that makes it feel as if you are looking out a window. To keep things light and airy we created a custom natural cedar floating vanity, gold fixtures, and a light green tiled feature wall in the shower.

This en-suite bathroom exudes luxury with its brushed gold fittings and spectacular back wall marble tiles. Although small, it is perfectly adapted to the need of the owner, providing enough space for extra seating when required, a light up vanity mirror and matte white towel radiator.

Truly, modern meets farmhouse in this bathroom. The subtle touch of grey on the shiplap creates a calm effect throughout. Aged brass sconces flank the medicine cabinet and offer that perfect pop of color. No detail has gone unnoticed.

We created a feature wall using rustic white wash porcelain tile planks and a grey porcelain floor to create contrast. There are wow factors throughout this space that all go hand in hand together! The white porcelain tile brightens up the shower and the subtle grey veining throughout ties the chevron into the more earthy elements outside of the shower!

The En Suite to the super glam master bedroom here is just as glam. Walls and ceiling all painted in this almost black with black detailing modernises the space and plays homage to their delicious feature tiles. The viewing window from the showers looks out the the amazing arched windows and to the countryside beyond.

The Kelso's Primary Bathroom exudes a sophisticated and contemporary atmosphere with its black cabinet and drawer hardware, black pendant lighting, and black plumbing fixtures. The striking black tile chevron detail floor adds a touch of boldness and visual interest to the space. The black windows create a sleek and modern look while providing an abundance of natural light. The gray cabinets offer ample storage space and contribute to the overall sleek and stylish design. The white freestanding tub stands out as a luxurious focal point, creating a sense of relaxation and indulgence. The white wainscoting and walls create a bright and airy ambiance, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness. The Kelso's Primary Bathroom is a harmonious blend of modern elegance and timeless charm, providing a serene and inviting sanctuary for daily self-care rituals.
