Un espacio dedicado al trabajo desde casa pero convertible en un cuarto de hospedes. La cliente queria un espacio atrevido, que no fuera aburrido, ya que pasaria grande parte de su dia encerrada trabajando. Con visión en tonos verdes, optamos por un tono rico y oscuro, con un gota de azul, para ofrecer un contraste elegante con el suelo original recuperado. La lineal horizontal amplifica nuestra percepción de espacio y crea un fondo de pantalla interesante para las reuniones online. La cliente ha usado uno de sus muebles anteriores, una cama de estudio extensible, que sirve como un sofá lounge durante el uso de trabajo y se convierte en cama en caso de visitas.

Her Office will primarily serve as a craft room for her and kids, so we did a cork floor that would be easy to clean and still comfortable to sit on. The fabrics are all indoor/outdoor and commercial grade for durability. We wanted to maintain a girly look so we added really feminine touches with the crystal chandelier, floral accessories to match the wallpaper and pink accents through out the room to really pop against the green. A carefully designed corner in your living room or an alcove can be made into a productive and stylish study space. Books are obviously going to feature heavily in your home library design, and you’ll need a place to store them. A bookcase or nice shelving can create room dividers if you don’t have a whole room to dedicate to a home library, and the benefit of bookcases is that they are movable – you don’t have to stick with one layout it it’s not working. If you don’t want to take up space, shelves hung on the walls will work just as well, and if you really want that authentic library feel then you’ll have to go with built in bookshelves that stretch from floor to ceiling. Next all you need is a comfy chair in amongst the books or a desk if you plan to do work or study from your library. Remember that contemporary library areas can be slotted in all around the home – under the stairs, in a corner of your living room or kitchen, as a mezzanine or in a small spare room.
