Welcome this downtown loft with a great open floor plan. We created separate seating areas to create intimacy and comfort in this family room. The light bamboo floors have a great modern feel. The furniture also has a modern feel with a fantastic mid century undertone.

Country ledgestone was used to create this fireplace façade. Country ledge stone contains individual stone pieces that have bulging stones that can be dry stacked or mortar jointed together.

The fireplace was on the right in this family room, making it impossible to center furniture or place a television correctly. We moved the fireplace to the center of the wall for symmetry and drama, and refaced it with the stunning slab of travertine. We wanted to take advantage of the view of the gorgeous back yard, so our chairs swivel and the sofa faces the view, but is perfectly situated for TV viewing. The leather on the sofa is family friendly, perfect for a young family. Two pairs of mirrors on the walls flanking the sofa add depth to the room and bling. We love this room!

The glass panel stairway overlooks the great room and connects both wings of the home upstairs. Three glass windows upstairs infuse lots of natural light.
