Condo dens can be a difficult space to utilize especially when they don't have windows. Our client wanted a room to practice music as his desk ended up in the guest room. This was his favorite room.

The one-car garage has been renovated to become a music studio for the owner's baby grand. The decibel level of this piano can reach jackhammer loudness (although the sound is much pleasanter) so maintaining the music studio in a separate building enhances family harmony.

Part of the renovation project included opening the large wall to the Music Room which is opposite the dining room. In there we married a gorgeous teal grasscloth wallpaper, also from Phillip Jeffries, with fabric for drapery & shades in Covington’s Abelia Garden which is a stunning embroidered floral on a navy background.

Our team designed, handcrafted and installed a couch and fireplace in this family's music room. The custom couch features a base and sides of walnut, and a top and back of comfortable cushions. The fireplace features a marble and concrete surround, concrete hearth and walnut mantle.

Combing our love of styles and colours, we successfuly implemented a blend of bright yellow accent furniture with turquoise wallpaper. The result is a welcoming nook, perfect for reading and playing music. These bright colours compliment eachother wonderfully and ensure a funky space which maintains an inviting feel.
