While much of the home is visible from the street, walls and plantings have been strategically placed to provide some privacy. Large windows and accordion doors integrate the home with the landscape. Black wall sconces mimic the vertical linear elements found in surrounding trees.

This home was built in an infill lot in an older, established, East Memphis neighborhood. We wanted to make sure that the architecture fits nicely into the mature neighborhood context. The clients enjoy the architectural heritage of the English Cotswold and we have created an updated/modern version of this style with all of the associated warmth and charm. As with all of our designs, having a lot of natural light in all the spaces is very important. The main gathering space has a beamed ceiling with windows on multiple sides that allows natural light to filter throughout the space and also contains an English fireplace inglenook. The interior woods and exterior materials including the brick and slate roof were selected to enhance that English cottage architecture.

Nestled into a private culdesac in Cordillera Ranch, this classic traditional home struts a timeless elegance that rivals any other surrounding properties.
Designed by Jim Terrian, this residence focuses more on those who live a more relaxed lifestyle with specialty rooms for Arts & Crafts and an in-home exercise studio. Native Texas limestone is tastefully blended with a light hand trowel stucco and is highlighted by a 5 blend concrete tile roof. Wood windows, linear styled fireplaces and specialty wall finishes create warmth throughout the residence. The luxurious Master bath features a shower/tub combination that is the largest wet area that we have ever built. Outdoor you will find an in-ground hot tub on the back lawn providing long range Texas Hill Country views and offers tranquility after a long day of play on the Cordillera Ranch Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course.

Inspired by the client's desire to design a modern home that blends into its surrounding riverside environment, this residence effortlessly integrates itself with nature. The home’s exterior incorporates horizontal board and batten siding painted a deep, earthy brown, ensuring the structure is softly indiscernible until you are in close proximity.

This Alumawood pergola in Meza, AZ, highlights just how beautiful they can look when the sun goes down. The pergola covers a large entertaining area, with a barbeque, smoker, outdoor bar, and seating area. The pergola comfortably covers all these items while still retaining lots of space. The pale pavers contrast the dark color of the pergola. The installed lights provide the right amount of illumination without being too harsh.
