This was a complete remodel of a 90's master bathroom. The new layout allows for a larger shower, a free standing tub, a wall hung vanity, and contemporary elements. Repetition of the in wall niches and 'waterfall' edges gives this room unique architectural elements. Although it is a neutral space, there are many bold features that give this project an intriguing look and a spa feel. Photo credit: Bob Fortner Photography

This bathroom in our client's lovely three bedroom one bath home in the North Park Neighborhood needed some serious help. The existing layout and size created a cramped space seriously lacking storage and counter space. The goal of the remodel was to expand the bathroom to add a larger vanity, bigger bath tub long and deep enough for soaking, smart storage solutions, and a bright updated look. To do this we pushed the southern wall 18 inches, flipped flopped the vanity to the opposite wall, and rotated the toilet. A new 72 inch three-wall alcove tub with subway tile and a playfull blue penny tile make create the spacous and bright bath/shower enclosure. The custom made-to-order shower curtain is a fun alternative to a custom glass door. A small built-in tower of storage cubbies tucks in behind wall holding the shower plumbing. The vanity area inlcudes an Ikea cabinet, counter, and faucet with simple mirror medicine cabinet and chrome wall sconces. The wall color is Reflection by Sherwin-Williams.

Client previously had a standard pre-fab molded shower with a curtain. She asked for a complete upgrade with full length glass doors, stone/pebble floor, porcelain wall tile with accent of iridescent glass mosaic tile. Fixtures and hardware are in a satin brass finish.

Crisp and clean, this refreshing blue and white master bath combines simplicity and high impact. The cool, white tile and cabinetry create the perfect backdrop for the stunning blue agata countertop and crushed glass accent tile. Paired with silver accents in lighting and fixtures which continue the cool tones of the room. The corner whirlpool tub was a must have in the remodel project, along with enlarging the shower area and expanding the vanity space. Interior Designer: Wanda Pfeiffer Photo credits: Naples Kenny

White and blue are a classic design combination and we felt done in this fresh way made this room work for the children and family guests. The dark blue glass tile is a fun accent but will look classic for years. The colourful accessories are perfect for the children and are contemporary enough to appeal to adults as well. White tiles, fixtures and cabinetry makes this space feel larger than it’s actual footprint. The white also helps keep it light and airy. Additional lighting was added in the tub area for evening tub time and showers too. The built-in niche keeps essentials handy. The additional counter space and cabinet add storage as well. The mirror can even be tilted so little faces can brush their own hair. john trigiani photography

This stunning bathroom features a deep navy shiplap wall with a white oak shaker vanity and marble countertop. It's paired with light gray hexagon floor tiles, classic white subway tiles, and marble mosaic tiles. The arched built-in, area rug, brass sconces, and simple botanical prints, further add to the vintage vibe of the space.

This home has a beautiful ocean view, and the homeowners wanted to connect the inside and outside. We achieved this by removing the entire roof and outside walls in the kitchen and living room area, replacing them with a dramatic steel and wood structure and a large roof overhang. We love the open floor plan and the fun splashes of color throughout this remodel.
