Segal & Wilmot Interior DesignThis was a complete master bathroom design, starting with radiant heat under limestone flooring. There is a beatiful marble surround countertop and dark wood vanity. The soaking tub has a simple yet beautiful shape. The shower is a continuation of the tiles with smooth stone floor and a seat. There are built in shelves of dark wood by the toilet. We chose a beautiful color called "Latte" which warms the space.
Ardesia DesignEnsuite bathroom was enlarged and finished in grey and warm grey tones. Floor was tiled with concrete effect porcelain tiles, walls in wet areas with light grey micro mosaics and basin shelves were made to order from Carrara marble. Sanitaryware was ordered in stainless steel matt finish. Mirror above the basin was designed and built with concealed storage and LED lighting on the sides.

Capturing North sunlight with adequate screening
Allowing cross ventilation through the whole house
Installing double glazing with low U value
Increasing the insulation in all external and internal walls
We were able to maximize the use solar panels by avoiding a pitch roof. These solar panels generate eight kilowatts, which cater for most of the energy needs of the house. We also installed a 20,000-litre rainwater tank under the front garden in order to irrigate the garden and provide water for the toilets.
